With great big checks comes great responsibility.   Not a fan of blaming the contract, or his CHOICE to take on endorsements, etc.   If he can't handle it, he doesn't have to agree to the Hulu deal, etc.  Know your limitations.

Just guessing here, but it could be that after appearing in the Super Bowl and his agent advising him to take advantage of deals, he just had a hard time adjusting schedule wise. it was said he wanted to focus on actual football not the deals, so it could just be an adjustment that he will grow into and mature.

People criticize Kelce to all his media stuff too but he's a veteran more used to it.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Hopefully he is learning his limitations, and this is all part of the maturation process.

And he's got veterans around who can help guide him on that.

It's always funny to me how fans are so critical of athletes. They are in their young 20s and handed a multi-million dollar contract, fame, spotlight, media appearances, endorsements and everything. That is an adjustment for anyone. You see it in young actors and musicians as well.

I think Hurts is mature, more so than most his age. I think he didn't like being pulled in different directions and wanted to focus on football which is his primary job and what fans should appreciate about him.

So the Eagles need Big Dom to keep Sirianni from attacking his players verbally? How can Lurie not look at that and say, we have a problem at head coach. Makes the Nick lost the locker room chatter much louder IMO. The leash on him had better be short this year.

So why the F was he brought back. What the actual hell are they thinking

The entire FS1 lineup is just awful. No wonder they get no ratings.

Carton -- convicted felon, loudmouth NY host with horrible takes

Bayless -- do I really need to say anything

Cowherd -- actual racist ("being a baseball manager is so easy, even a Dominican can do it")

Nick Wright -- utterly insufferable gremlin

Acho -- likes to use big word incorrectly in a lame Don King impression

Kevin Wildes is funny at least

Bayless and Cowherd are the absolute worst in all of sports.

Dude its total nonsense click bait

A lot of people on Twitter talking about ravens cutting Marlon Humphrey. I get cutting Marlon Humphrey as post June 1st saves ravens 11.75 mil but i don’t see why they wouldn’t restructure him and keep him.

I'm not so sure Schefters source is accurate either. If there was some weird locker room drama they're not going to want to reveal that. That guy does have connections and a weird story like this is the kind of thing I can see him knowing. Not sure why he'd just concoct a complete false fabricated story out of nowhere like this.

Maybe Big Dom told them to bring him back.

Head Coach needs an emotional support pet on the sideline to keep him in check. Good Lord.

I don't buy that Siranni flies off the handle like a child.

That one aged really well.

Easy now... let's not call Big Dom a pet.

Where is that gator from the Phillies game

Big contract got to his head? But he's so humbled. Seems like QB1 can't handle a lot of things

 Blaming the contract?

He went from paying rent to a mortgage. Too much for him

My biggest fear with bringing Nick back is what happens if/when they hit a two or three game skid next season? They’ll slip right into 2023 PTSD mode and crater. I feel like they’ll either go 14-3 next year or 6-11. Nothing in between.

I don't think that matters and most likely BS.

Wasn't Dom still there when he was mouthing at Colts fans about revenge for Frank Reich?

Wasn't Dom still there when they beat the Chiefs and he was yelling in the tunnel at Chiefs fans?

If Dom was supposed to be keeping Sirianni in check then he didn't do a good job of it.

I don't think anyone is keeping Sirianni in check or telling him to turn down the trash talk.

If Lurie had a problem with it I'm 100% sure he would meet with Sirianni and tell him to stop jawing with the fans.

Fans will believe anything negative from unnamed sources and click bait, especially if it's confirmation bias.

Not following but apparently the Eagles have a Lindros/Brind'Amour situation?  Of course, the all time greatest Eagles paramour was Wes Hopkins, may he rest in peace.

Which Eagle is married to Rod Brind'Amour's ex-wife?

Are you calling Big Dom an animal?

They should cut him because that helps the Eagles.

Was a metaphor. If the story is true, it's such a bad look. I don't know how any player on that team would be able to take the guy seriously or respect Nick if he needs a babysitter around to keep him in check.

That is an excellent trivia question.  Toast Jenkins?

A month ago the "report" about him was that he didn't want to do all the sponsors and media, he wanted to focus on football and he was "difficult" for sponsorship companies to deal with or something like that.

So these attempts to make Hurts look bad are: he wants to focus on football not sponsorships, he is stoic and focused during the game instead of laughing and smiling and he doesn't hang out with the players partying enough.

So...he's all business. That should be a good thing.

All business except when it comes to sponsorship business allegedly. Man too many damn inside source stories coming out. Like gossiping teenage girls at this point.
