Howie out here like Thanos… collecting 30+ year old corners for his infinity gauntlet

I think I'm going to make a quick little video here for everyone that I'll post later tonight.

The word with "ist" at the end now has a filter (it will likely be changed to something else eventually). That will take care of the Google flags. Ironically, the issue was caused by the people mockingly joking about it and complaining about it.

We will continue as we have: attacking someone of the "ist" without merit falls under personal attacks. People have received warning points for this despite the continued lies that the mods did nothing. I have not seen any reports of this happening for a long time until today. We will also continue to encourage political talk to go to CVON. You can also ignore (either with the feature, or just don't reply) rather than add fuel to the fire.

There are legitimate subjects of race in the context of football. Just recently the Eagles social media team posted about players from HBCU's. Last year Hurts was in a magazine cover story about the legacy of black QBs in the organization. The media made a story about 2 black QBs playing in the Super Bowl with Mahomes and Hurts. The Rooney Rule comes up every offseason. Simply talking about race isn't a problem.

If someone uses traditionally coded language used toward black QBs and then someone suggests the issue might actually be race, that isn't necessarily "race baiting." That's an opinion about the content of what was posted, and you can reply that no it's not about race it's about the skills. If it goes further, then consider it a personal attack and report the poster. You're also adults. There's a lot of trash talk insulting people all day, so have some thick skin. However, I can see the point if someone is constantly making every criticism of the QB about race. Report the posts.

We'll look at this more closely going forward.

I don't know. I would think that security would do some of that. Big Dom and his minions.

Did seem like Big Dom had some role with Nick.  I recall the clip of Nick yelling,  I think to Dom, that he knew where he was allowed to go running towards the goal on the sideline.  I do wonder if because of Dom’s suspension, as he isn’t a coach, if the Head Coach Quality Control Assistant takes over those duties. I believe if Dom had been a coach that he was within what they are allowed to do.   Frankly, my initial take was a bit of tongue in cheek dig at Nick’s comments on needing to control his emotions during games but part of me hopes that the HCQCA does take on the role of sideline discipline etc.

I'm sure the Eagles are probably furious. He's calling in unprompted and going off the rails fighting a radio talk show.

Did someone say it's unprompted?

Ahh, the all-important "up to” designation.

He's about to be 31 too. He's not Bradberry or anything but I would look at Johnson or Sneed first, if available.

You know that's not going to happen. They like to engage with those posts and the complain about them

It doesn’t really need to be said. A Twitter account no one knew if it was or wasn’t AJ Brown said at midnight he was calling in today. The radio station had no idea if if was Brown or not and had no idea when or if he would. And then he randomly did without them being able to promote it. It certainly wasn’t the usual player interview that the Eagles set up.

Its very possible he ran this by Eagles brass and his agent first too

That's hilarious, I like him even more now. Isn't this the 2nd time he's dunked on wip this offseason?

No one should sit idly while one side makes those allegations.

The answer is to stop those who continue to bring that in to the conversation.

Possible but with how tight lipped the Eagles are about everything and how meticulous they are about stuff like this, I don’t know if they would give him the green light.

They have a guy whose job is to stand at press conferences and nod his head yes or no about questions that should or shouldn’t be answered.

I guess we will find out in the upcoming days I'm sure we will hear one way or the other

I don't think Howie will go for Xavien. I think Jaylon Johnson and Kenny Moore will be in play.

I love AJ Brown I’m glad he cooked Ike and the TO crap can stop

Some in here make wild comments. Comments that would get you banned in most other sites.

This board is very lenient…just need to be an adult.

This whole race thing is ridiculous. We can sit here all day and talk about how bad Bradberry was this year but the moment we bring up QB1 "we're" ist. No one has ever come out and said they don't like QB1 because of his race. So the idiot who keeps making such ridiculous accusations should not be allowed to post in the blog. We're here to talk football, joke around, and have fun

Problem is that many have responded that it isn’t about race it is a skill issue and yet the suggestion about it being about race is made repeatedly by the one poster.  He baits in all sorts of ways.  I have had him on ignore for years but I see quoted posts that are just that.  I would encourage the entire Blog to ignore him as well.  But repeated incidents from the same poster responding that the issue might be race suggest a pattern of baiting posters and not in a healthy or productive fashion.    It’s to get a reaction.  That reaction is what generated this discussion and endangers a revenue source.  I am troubled you can’t see that.
