Coaching is a major problem. But like i said hurts wasn’t playing at 2022 level either.

This happened every single game. Dude forgot how to climb a pocket, he just bails all the Fing time

Offense has no excuse whatsoever outside of whatever hobbled Hurts. Defense just didn't have the personnel. Too much to cover up. Had to hide the LBs, CB2, Slot CB, Safety and CB1 when injured. Can't overcome that I don't care what scheme you run.

Aside from all that, I don't know how Sirianni can explain what the F happened against the Cardinals and that last Giants game.  It's one thing to lose those games which is bad enough.  But the way they lost those games is inexcusble.

When you've got your future completely within your control, and the best you can get out of your squad is what we had to suffer through watching?  Can't come back from that.

Honestly as much as I love all these dudes, I don't care what fletch BG lane and kelce have to say about sirianni. They're on their way out, it isn't about them anymore. There's clearly an issue with him

Not unless the issue is above him. Read the tea leaves... the players have no problem with him.

Lol. I completely forgot about Nolan Smith. He did practically nothing until the playoff game.

Not saying much. He barely got any snaps at the beginning of the year and only started gaining more playing time when the defense was burnt toast. Kind of status quo for this team since they usually hate to play rookies on defense unless if they have to.

The approach is just weird and again reeks of influence from upstairs.

Doug had and end of season PC with Lowie before getting fired.

Because they intended on keeping Doug and gave him an ultimatum but Doug developed a backbone from winning the Super Bowl so they had to change course and fire him.  They are probably doing something similiar to Sirianni now although I'm not sure he even hired his own coaching staff or if that was more Howie.

I'd like to see a real QB guru work with him in an NFL style offense.  He showed massive improvement last year and to start this year.

He was a good DC.

Jeffery is like nah, I'll stick with Nick and the POS he picks

This play was like a flashback to 2019 and 2020 wentz trying to do too much and ultimately backfiring

I'd be fine there with him as the DC. Same goes for Leslie Frazier

Agreed. I think Smith will find his way. Extremely smart and dedicated kid.

Amidst people all pissed off at the Eagles and wanting Eagles coaches fired,   consider that the Eagles had their Offensive Coordinator hired as a Head Coach after last season and they had their Defensive Coordinator hired as a Head Coach after last season.

Key facts.

The Eagles lost,  as teams that go to the Super Bowl often do, GREAT Coordinators,  who were both given Promotions to Head Coach.   Losing GREAT Coordinators,  unavoidable.  Whether or not people here actually liked those coordinators,  if a Coordinator is getting a promotion to Head Coach,  he falls into the category of great coordinator.

So,  you have new coordinators,  that you don't want to have, and you lost the coordinators near the end of the musical chairs process.   So, you have new coordinators who really shouldn't be expected to be as good as the great coordinators the Eagles lost to Head Coach promotions.   And they weren't.  But it's not at all clear that they were bad.

Was it Brian Johnson's idea to strip the offense down to - pass to Brown, pass to Smith, pass to Brown again, pass to Goedert?   I think not.   If we can characterize Siri's approach as "just like last year, but only the plays that worked the most",  we can characterize Brian Johnson's approach as "not that",   and I'd want not that.   I'd want Toney stuff from Florida.

I find it difficult to want to fire a HC after going to the playoffs 3 straight years, including a Super Bowl appearance.   It's hard to criticize an 11-6 record, even if the losses came at the end.   So,  I'd say not to do that.   Siri - keeps his job and becomes more of a figurehead type with less control over the offense.  Brian Johnson,  more control over the offense,  more Florida,  more doing something that Jalen Hurts wants.   Also,  possibly,  add Greg Roman as Run Game Coordinator.   Despite having running QB Jalen Hurts,  the run game wasn't great.   PFF thinks all 4 RB are below average.   PFF thinks most of the WR/TE/RB group are below average.   4 RBs below average,  4 WRs below average, 2 TEs below average.     PFF really liked the oline.   all above average and 3 near the top.   If you have a great oline,  below average running backs can look good.  But if you had a great oline and great running backs, you would have a great running game especially combined with running QB Jalen Hurts.
