Maybe the refs will be next.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

But what’s more technologically advanced than a stick and an index card?

So because it takes the refs too long to determine intentional grounding, they want to increase protection for QBs even further and lessen the foul. How does that make sense?

Just put the QB in a neon colored jersey and give them flags to wear.  If tackled short of the LOS, 15 yard penalty for the defense... must pull the flags only... if the QB runs past the LOS, 15 yard penalty for the offense.  Eliminate any ambiguity for the intentional grounding call.   The ball must be near an eligible receiver, no matter where the QB is... in the tackle box, outside the tackle box.  Doesn't matter.

Incidentally, this eliminates the Tush Push concern and QB sneak too.  QB can't take the snap, because he's in a different color jersey.   Also can't be an eligible receiver either.  So, no more Philly Special either.    Stop the pretense.   QBs are no longer 'football' players.  They are commodities.

The sundial to time games...

Someone will take Chop Robinson in the top 15. I'm scared of the arm length, but if he can win that quickly off the edge it doesn't matter.

Can never say no to a James Franklin product. Any time you’re coached by the best college football coach in history, you’re gonna be good.

No worries, we have different positions to point to with those... think of a position designed to make the CB look bad...  🤔

Does that mean we’ll finally get that stadium with a moat?

And yes, that was the actual concept released.

His arm length is the same as Reddick's and also has a slightly faster 10 yard split than Reddick at nearly 20lbs heavier

Trotter is just not a great athlete.

Might be an unpopular opinion but Trotter personally would be better off anywhere else. The expectations would be ridiculously through the roof and unfair to him if he were drafted to Philly.

Cooper gonna go in the first…

Colson, Wilson, Cooper, Wallace... Howie needs to get one of the top linebackers this year.

Of course Howie will never, but he's worthy of 22 or maybe a short trade back. Quay Walker, Jack Campbell, Kenneth Murray, no reason at all Cooper can't go in the back third of round 1.

Trading down and drafting Cooper is the way.

They don't need a LB round 1 over CB/DE/OT. If they can't get a good one round two then Howie should be fired.

4.44, yes.

Wilson looks awfully skinny

I'm personally against the pure OT round 1. If Fuaga falls, ok I'd think about him at RG with the eye potentially towards RT. But to me, LB is above OT pretty easily this year. They just gave Lane a major extension and he said himself he's not retiring for a few more years. I'm not using a high pick just to have him sit for years eating up his cheap contract years while not knowing what he even is, that's ridiculous to me at this point with the garbage defense we have.

Credit to Sheil Kapadia but in the last 3 seasons only 4 T’s have started 10 or more games being 34 or older. Williams, Peters, Whitworth and Brown. This is Lanes age 34 season.

I wouldn’t love a 1st round T but it wouldn’t be the worst idea, especially if they have G versatility.

Then Howie never should've given him a mega extension.

Will the Eagles FO stay true to their drafting philosophy?

Howie needs to show he can fix this and Nick needs to show he can coach. They are in a superbowl window right now. They saw how quickly that can close with Wentz. I don’t think Howie is going to want that to happen again. Normally I’d be fine with an OT in the first, but I think they are going to try and press for immediate impact.
