Lawlor doesn't seem as high on Cooper as others. Thinks he's a bad tackler and a little raw.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

269 pounds.Ā  Edge.Ā  I think the Eagles should have a big edge in the rotation.Ā  best ras for edge. long arms in addition to that.Ā  could be graham replace, now or in the future.

I think you overrate RAS…but I will say one thing. Ā 12 personnel as a base offense was a terrible failure for this team.

For a 12 personnel heavy offense to be truly successful in 2024, it would require one absolute freakbeast TE that can function seamlessly with the speed of a wr. Ā Otherwise it belongs as a situational package.

I use ras mostly because it's what's there.Ā  the fact that it kicks out a number is useful, but it gives points for height, when sometimes height is a disadvantage.Ā  It allows comparisons of combine and pro day data side by side 2 players,Ā  that's useful.Ā  I'd rather have sparq back.Ā  That generates better numbers.

They don't have Braelon Allen as a top 5 RB?

Trotter (pushing the edge of 20 years), Maclin, Jackson, McCoy, Evan Mathis, DRC, Kurt Coleman, Beau Allen, Hicks.

And of course, Eagles legend Frank Gore.

I would throw Poyer and Douglas on that list. Underdeveloped DBs that went on to have productive careers elsewhere

running backs are first

In the last 20 years, how many players have the eagles let walk and regretted it? Ā And don’t give me Dawk. Ā That’s more sentimentality.

In the last 20 years, how many players have the eagles extended with at least 1 full year left on their deal and regretted it?

As to your first question, quite a few. But I’m guessing you’re framing this as established guys in or leaving their prime years.Ā

Of course, but the overall point is Brown will start the season on PUP and be back on the field in October, possibly in uniform on Sundays by Week 5. Ā He was drafted at the top of the 3rd round, with the intention of being a long term contributor. Ā The Eagles are not bringing in 3 guys to play safety with Brown and Blankenship already accounting for two roster spots.

So you think they are rolling with just 3 safeties until Week 5?

You could also watch them play. That’s there.Ā

I'm using objective data.Ā  otherwise you have the opinion of unqualified people, without objective data.

Yep, two guys I thought of right away. Also Villanueva, Raheem Brock, Raheem Mostert, Toohill. You could even say Eric Rowe and Mack Hollins had decent careers elsewhere than they were used here.Ā

This is an unsupported rumour, so take it with a big grain of salt, but the Eagles have had talks with the Broncos about Justin Simmons. Simmons had his best years under Fangio. Simmons also has one year left on his deal and the Broncos need to rebuild.

I hear you but injuries are a tough thing. Even if he's healthy by week 5, he's not going to be up to speed and will be a very part time player. Bringing in 3 safeties is the minimum IMO.

Laube too slow. Matches the tape

Dylan Laube looks like he’s pushing 30

RAS is not objective data if they will be good football playersĀ

Problem there is that you dont know how to interpret said data or apply it

I thought 40 lol

I like Ray Davis and really like Marshawn Lloyd. I know Benson is rated high but I'm not sold on him, need to watch some more.Ā

We discussed this as a possibility, could be Fangio's field generalĀ
