Any NC Eagles and Ween fans in the house?

Going to see them in Asheville in April.

It's going to be epic!

Ween fan here. Don’t think they’ll be making their way up here though. Always looking to add to my and the wife’s yearly concert/entertainment lineup. Here’s what we have so far (plus taking my 12 year old to Wrestlemania and Monday Night Raw)…

Pearsall, Franklin, McMillan (not Polk)... the boys.

McCaffrey just doesnt look athletic to me at all. he surprised me today.

Isaiah Williams is another guy that looks just solid all around, like Burton does. I was disappointed with William's 40 time today, but he sure has the quickness. He might make a very nice slot for someone, and seems destined to be a later round pick. but I suppose we should be looking for more speed than he brings.

Well, with the speed and size of these WRs, I really pray that Nate Wiggins injury helps drop him to our pick. And then we gotta grab one of these speed WRs in round 2. For 1, we need one. And for another reason- just to keep them away from other teams.

Might want to get Sneed in here with his 4.3 speed at safety too.

obviously.... Its not disrespect if you keep it in the proper context.

Context that he's nothing like AJ would help.

Pinkston was at least a nice deep threat. Thrash... well.... nice... I got nothing.

He is a dude. Definitely a target as an AJ heir

Williams was a favorite of mine later in the draft, but that speed probably is a no-go for us.

Return game alone could be worth the risk.  And as the #3 WR with AJ and DeVonta - speed alone should open up the field.

Thats the real question — does his speed make the whole offense better? Is his presence going to score us more points than the alternative player we would take?

I doubt we go WR in the first with AJ and Smith already here, but, yeah… I’d love to have him.

That’s a legit shocking workout.

I was surprised too. He looked slow as an OL at senior bowl practices to me. I really thought he was going to have to be a TE.

Maybe he still should be. But he did well enough to possibly earn a shot as a WR somewhere.

He’s a future TE for sure.  His tape is pretty uninspiring, and I think he’s had drop issues, to boot.

I dont think this means anything as "right now" seems early still, but the only top 30 visit DeJean has scheduled right now is with the Eagles. per Chase Senior of JAKIB, posted on faceboom about 5 hours ago.

Nice lineup!

Saw Maniscalco in Charlotte a while back. It was a riot! Only one that was as funny live for me was Jim Gaffigan.

Im not super thrilled about a CJGJ reunion. But this looks like a damn good secondary rebuilt for relatively cheap. Its 1 draft pick, and 1 substantial veteran contract. Rodgers, and Gardner-Johnson are cheap additions. Slay is a very adequate holdover. Blankenship, and Brown are excellent depth. Maybe you trade one of them.

                     Gardner-Johnson                      Justin Simmons

Slay                                                                                      Isaiah Rodgers                  Nate Wiggins or DeJean

And yet he didnt impress me…

Justin Simmons is already 31 years old. In the last year of his deal.

His salary basically slots right in to the 14M saved by releasing Byard today.

I wonder what it realistically takes to sign a guy we hopefully arent going to pay to extend.

It almost makes sense to swap Reddick since we dont really want to pay him either. 2 expiring guys on the brink of their decline. But pass rusher should be valued higher than a S.

Yeah this will be our 5th time. We see him every time he’s in town. I grew up in an Italian family in the 80’s, so his comedy hits home.

Every year there are some 6’2-6’5” long striders who throw down great 40s but just aren’t that fast in pads on the field.  I love speed and like 40’s for WRs, but I am generally wary of the taller guys that "surprise” in the 40.  If it’s a surprise, then don’t expect them to be that fast in the NFL.

Now Xavier Worthy…he’s fast.  Brian Thomas…fast.

Perfect match for Tyree Jackson.

Why do we need a 2nd round receiver?

AD Mitchell is an interesting one. Texas ran a fast offense so he admitted to running routes at like 80 percent speed to he could have enough energy to stay on the field. I hope that would change in the pros where they won’t run as many snaps and he can actually play to his timed speed.
