Yeah this will be our 5th time. We see him every time he’s in town. I grew up in an Italian family in the 80’s, so his comedy hits home.

Fellow Italian. Just in the 90s.

Nobody could touch that coffee cake!

I actually hope the Eagles address RB in free agency this season because there are a ton of WRs I like in round 3 and I really don't want to use a 3rd rounder on a RB this year. 3rd round feels like the perfect spot to get a 3rd WR.

Every year there are some 6’2-6’5” long striders who throw down great 40s but just aren’t that fast in pads on the field.  I love speed and like 40’s for WRs, but I am generally wary of the taller guys that "surprise” in the 40.  If it’s a surprise, then don’t expect them to be that fast in the NFL.

Now Xavier Worthy…he’s fast.  Brian Thomas…fast.

I dont think anyone surprised with a fast time today. The big guys who were supposed to be fast, were fast. None of those times were unexpected.

I definitely think Mitchell at 4.35 is a surprise.

Watching the RB drills, I actually thought Laube had a strong day. I think the Texas RB Robinson looked really good. I wouldn’t mind him as our RB4 since he’s also a good kick returner.

The gas station at midnight might be my favorite lol

maybe. I remember not being impressed. And Im bewildered every time I hear guys like Kollman and the PFF guys go crazy over him. I dont remember what it was that kept me from liking him. Maybe he didnt look that fast? Didnt get separation? cant remember.

The Laube love is indeed fascinating around these parts :)

Don’t confuse my thinking that he had a strong day with loving him. I don’t have much interest in drafting an overaged white running back from a small school.

His name was Jacob Cowing.

Wow.  Ageist, prejudiced and elitist all in one sentence.  That’s like an unassisted triple play in baseball!

Really?  It’s been 30 years since I was involved in a "triple play” ….

The 19 Most Important "Martin" Episodes, Ranked

We need to draft Pretty Ricky. We need a legit slot guy that can run routes and... wait for it... catch the damn ball. Hopefully the new OC is pushing for a legit #3 so that they can stop big play hunting.

Combine workouts well continue today.  It is the final day.

He lets too many balls get into his body, double clutches a bit and has early hands. None of these things matter much at the college level as he gets wide open. He moves very well given his length, but also plays a little small for his size.

He had the 2nd best 10yd split, which is important for running the mesh RO. Some teams asked for him to participate in the WR drills which isn’t surprising. I worry about his length in terms of pass protection, but that seems to be as much a mentality as a physical skill (e.g. Westbrook vs Penny).

With a little more hate, I could probably make a quadruple play. I’ll work on it.
