  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Poyer is 33 next month, don't think he's a fit.

Ring chasing?

Have to love getting your season ticket invoice with another increase in price and one less home game.

I was not surprised one bit to be honest.

FA options are lining up nicely with our needs. Let’s hope Howie makes the right moves.

Poyer is 33. Pass

I wouldn't even want him if he were. This team should not be signing 33 year olds at any position other than cheap backups.

Gotta hope the increase in supply helps drive down the price on all safeties.

I don't think Poyer is moving that needle. He was Byard-esque last year.

Am i alone in find those huge butts not appealing?

Before I decide whether I want us to sign him or not, does anyone know how old Poyer is?

So what you are saying is he fills a vacancy.

He fills a gaping hole without much style or substance

I would’ve had a ton of interest in Tredavious White a couple years ago. He was a top 5 corner. Coming off two major injuries though I’d probably pass. Of the CB names available I like Lattimore the most, he’s really good.

I’d put the safeties into these buckets for the Eagles

Big money, would be thrilled to have a player of that quality on the team: Xavier McKinney

Legit money, could/should be a starter for the next 3-4 years (think Rodney McLeod): Kam Curl (I could be convinced he’s in his own tier after McKinney or maybe belongs with McKinney), Jordan Fuller, Jordan Whitehead, Julian Blackmon

Old, would he disappointed in having to settle for a band aid: Eddie Jackson, Jordan Poyer, Quandre Diggs, Micah Hyde, Rayshawn Jenkins.

Upside but would be disappointed if he was our only addition: Darnell Savage, Deshon Elliott, Geno Stone (one year wonder and a bad tackler), Brandon Jones

Please don’t trade for: Justin Simmons

We had a defense that couldn't slow down the worst offense in the NFL last year but sure lets spend pick 22 on a swing tackle.

If he's a generational talent at the position he isn't there at 22, if he isn't a generational talent at Tackle you can pick someone up next year.

I think you’re confusing what I expect the pick to be & what I want the pick to be here.
