Eagles lockerroom was open from 2:30 and Jalen Hurts wasn't available until 7:30.  That tells me that Hurts was in a long exit interview with Lurie and maybe Howie too.  Probably longer than planned and now Nick's had to be bumped back to tomorrow. Are the coaches and coordinators that Howie is reaching out to for Nick or to gaige interest in Eagles HC opening?

Might not love doesn’t mean i didn’t like some of his moves. Definitely didn’t love the James harden deal when we originally made that deal.

The situation was simple.  Howie told Patricia and Desai to pick a number between 1 and 10.  Desai picked #2, because the defense has been playing like #2.  Patricia picked #7, then dropped it into the news coverage and it came up on Howie's cell phone.   Patricia got the job.  And Desai went to the bathroom, never to be seen again.

I used to do food delivery as a side hustle and one time I did a delivery to a sketchy townhouse complex late at night.  I get out of the car and see a young woman standing outside her door.  She was a nice looking girl, but wearing a bit too much makeup and her skirt was shorter than any skirt I’ve seen in my life.  I suspect she was a working girl.

The order was just a half sub sandwich and she gave a friendly "thank you” when I handed it to her.  I wanted to say "I hope I got here soon enough that you can finish your meal before your next customer arrives”, but I didn’t say that because I really didn’t want to get knifed in the appendix and bleed out on the ground.

Why is every Eagles offseason like a bad reality TV show?  

It would be a very hard case to make to keep OC Johnson.  Demoting him back to his old job maybe an option, though looks bad.  A new DC is clearly the path going forward.  HC, hard to say, depending on if Lurie would buy Siri's explanation.  Howie is owner's pet and should survive.  The last round of FA signing did not work well, but the season before worked fine.  GM can always blame that on the scouts on giving him inaccurate evaluations.

Yup i didn’t hate his other moves. They were Ok. I’m reserving judgment right now until we see what happens with the assets we got back in the second harden trade. That second harden trade and what it leads to will determine a lot.

Sirianni really should have had a short list of potential DCs on the ready with only needing to add a few names off fired staffs (Nielsen). The offensive coordinator part will be more difficult since I bet he had no interest in changing things up there. 

Keeping Sirianni this season only to fire him in a year in a much weaker coaching cycle would be so Lurie. Remember how bad the last crop of coaches was when they fired Doug. It's one of the reasons(along with a late start) they ended up with Sirianni to begin with.

The deal was highway robbery.  Ben Simmons still doesn't play.  His back is completely shot and/or he just has no interest in playing basketball anymore.
