We brought him in for a visit last year too. It's about time Howie gets his man.

I'm also pretty sure the source here is Brandon Graham

I'm completely sold and obsessed on getting CB Mitchell or Arnold in round 1 of the draft. Not good, gotta find some other round 1 options. Another guy I am intrigued by is Darius Robinson for DE. Different style of player but may be a good for ol' Fange. I'm still looking at him though, his explosiveness off the ball is a little questionable to me and seems to get stuck on blocks as well, but he has great strength and  length.

I'm afraid he is too small for his playing style to not kill him in the NFL.

He's the same size as Maddox, which may or may not prove your point. A much better player and a leader. He's a violent player, which again goes to your point. Still, I think he's a perfect slot corner. Just perfect.

Brandon Graham getting to 15 years and retiring as an Eagle is perfect.

Always my first thought when i see his name pop up

One Player Every Team Should Sign in Free Agency

Story by Gilberto Manzano

Philadelphia Eagles

Free agent: C.J. Gardner-Johnson, S

The Eagles made a mistake letting Gardner-Johnson walk last free agency. The defense drastically regressed, and they still have holes at safety. Perhaps a reunion would be beneficial for both sides. Gardner-Johnson played well in the postseason, but he missed 14 games with the Lions because of a torn pec injury

If it wasn't such a good nickel rookie CB class, I'd be tempted with a CJGJ & McKinney/Simmons combo.

That's what I was thinking.  Let CJGJ man the slot.  Would probably have to be Simmons as I think Mckinney will probably be the highest paid.

I want CJGJ and another safety, I've settled. CJGJ can be valuable for his versatility. Could play slot or safety. So adding him to me wouldn't necessarily be going overboard at safety considering he doesn't have to play it.

Not a popular opinion, I imagine, but I think CJGJ is highly over rated. He got a bunch of lucky picks with the Eagles. He kind stunk with the Lions and is the kind of player that can lose a team games because of his self-centeredness and lack of game discipline. Lots of other options, on the team, in the draft and in free agency that are better team decisions. IMHO.

Think you need to change your avatar then, you have forfeited the right to don a CJGJ photo!

Given the glut of options at safety, running back and linebacker, I'm guessing guys are going to sign for a hell of a lot less than people think. Look for a lot of short-term deals as guys look to hopefully get back to the market in a better year. This is a great opportunity to get value with a couple safeties, a linebacker and running backs. I could see Saquon having to take something like a 2 year/$10mm deal. There are just way too many options on the market. Safeties aren't sniffing more than $10mm AAV.

Yep, could come out with a nice haul.

Maybe not popular, but I have the same opinion.  He is now moving onto his 4th team - this should be a red flag.  Either he's a malcontent, overrated, or a little of both.

CBS Sportsline this morning was predicting 3/$33m for Saquon.

Not.  A.  Chance.

They were predicting similar numbers for Derrick Henry.   I wouldn't give him anything more than a 1 year prove it deal, because I don't know how much he last left in the tank.

This is why I have said in the past Robinson looked like a mid-rounder with an unstoppable power game, but nothing else in his arsenal.

He may be so big, and so strong that he can have immediate impact. But hes truly a developmental player who has been hyped up to possible round 1 status.

He has no speed rush or pass rush counter moves. Hes a straight bulldozer.

I get much more excited watching Elliss deploy his spin move and exceptionally varied pass rush arsenal.

At the same time, I will somehow be PUMPED if Robinson is an eagle in round 1. He kinda does just look that damn strong.

They aren't signing Barkley. They are more likely to sign JK Dobbins.

The only RB who should get a big deal would be Jacobs.  However, the league certainly doesn't value the position so I don't know who would overpay that much for an RB

Size of Maddox. Putting injuries aside, Ill just say his style is much different than Maddox.

Maddox was a 4.3 runner who is always around the ball and makes a drag down tackle.

Sainristil is much more of a playmaker and sticky cover man, a big part of his game, which makes him flash much more than others is his physicality. Which I just dont think will work for him in the NFL.

LOL - $11m per year. He'll be lucky to get $11mm guaranteed in total.

The inability of reporters to get supply and demand is amazing.

I could see short term deals for Swift and Dobbins.

If Barkley would do a 2 year, $10-12mm deal, they might do it. I get the feeling Howie will talk to a bunch of guys with a similar offer and see who jumps first.
