I'm not moving the goal posts. I'm pointing out that you were saying he can't play and acting as though he's garbage. I'm just saying, they didn't trade a ton for him.

The Broncos offense and Wilson both suck. They have little talent on that side of the ball.

I feel like you're arguing a point of his age just to argue. 25 isn't old. It would be if he were a rookie and still had to take a year or two to get up to speed.

No one said he hasn't underperformed, that he was worth his draft slot, that he's been overpaid, etc. Again, you're arguing points just to argue them.

And for one last time, he was 40th in the league in receiving yards. There are 32 teams in the league. So again, he's better than "A 3rd WR at best" on many of the teams in the league. Our third receiver this year by default was OZ, who had 164 yards.

You aren't moving goal posts yet in one post you went from saying Jeudy is  "FAR AND AWAY a 2 AT WORST on AT LEAST half of the teams in the league" to proving my point for me with stats (40th in receiving yards) that he is a number 3 WR in this league four seasons after being the 15th overall pick and expected to be a legit number 1. Dude has been a MASSIVE bust and is way overpaid which is why he was traded for two junk picks. Take the L and move on before you keep embarrassing yourself even worse Jerry.

I think you're confused. Again, no one is talking about him not living up to his potential or being overpaid. Please stop bringing something up that no one is talking about.

40th in receiving yards would mean that if every team had a one, he would be one of the better 2s in the league. I don't think you realize how poor some of the receivers are on other teams.

If he's a three at best, I'm assuming you can name 64 receivers that are better. Here's a hint, you can't.

I'm a big Josh Sweat fan but he was bad last year. He continually crashed the line biting on fakes and completely ignoring his contain assignments. You simply can't do that as a starting DE getting paid what he is. Especially when you look at the decline in sacks and absolute disappearance for long stretches at a time. I'd love for the Eagles to keep home grown talent and continue to develop him (if they are capable of) but if he brings back a 1st round pick, you've gotta do that trade.

Yeah, I’m a huge Sweat fan too but I definitely see the benefits of trading him. Lack of discipline, the looming knee issue, & the massive draft capital you can get back from him.  If the Eagles think they can rectify the situation I’m all for that, but at the same time I don’t want to be in a situation like the Panthers are in now with Brian Burns in the sense they missed that window to trade him & now are missing out on those huge assets they could have had. Eagles must feel pretty strongly about Nolan Smith and/or landing a big time DE in FA or the draft. Like if a Sweat trade lands us in an area we can draft Jared Verse I’m all for it

If Sweat can net a 1st & even more, I think you gotta take that trade also as long as there’s a contingency plan at DE like Huff.

Really don’t see us signing Barkley. It would have to be a really eagles friendly deal and more than he could get elsewhere. The Texans have a ton of cap space and a Qb on a rookie deal. Plus Pierce is right now their starter on the depth chart with singletary as a FA. I think that’s where he winds up.

We are getting everybodyzzzzzzzzzzzZzzzzzZZZZZ

If Sweat brings back a 1st, the Eagles can do whatever they want in the draft with two 1sts and two 2nds. They can move up, down, maybe get a 1st next year. It puts them in the driver seat to make big moves.

I don’t think Pierce is there starter anymore, he played awful last year. Source: I drafted him really high in fantasy football & had to take my L by week 7 & cut him.

Not to mention if they have two 1sts, and take an OT like we all expect, it’ll be easier for Eagles fans to accept that with another 1st being available for defense

I was thinking that too. It'd be great to find a starter at CB and DE in the draft but if there's a supreme talent at OT available and they already filled a significant defensive need then it's almost a no brainer.

Sweat isn't getting a first, sadly.

And here we go with the third changing of the goal post. First it was ''he's a 2 on at least half the teams in the league'', now it's name 64 WR's better. Make up your FN mind Jerry lover.

I can EASILY name 16 teams (half the league) teams where he isn't a top 2 WR.

1. Dolphins - Hill and Waddle

2. Raiders - Adams and Myers

3. Chargers - Allen and Williams

4. Steelers - Diontae and Pickens

5. Bengals  - Chase and Higgins

6. Texans - Collins and Dell

7. Jags - Kirk and Ridley

8. Bills - Diggs and Davis

9. Cowboys - Lamb and Cooks

10. Eagles - Devonta and AJ

11. 49'ers - Deebo and Aiyuk

12. Seahawks - Metcalf and Lockett

13. Rams - Kupp and Nacua

14. BUCS - Evans and Godwin

15. Saints - Olave and Shaheed

16. Vikings - Jefferson and Addison

17. Packers - Doubs, Reed, Watson

Gave you a bonus 17th. Please for the love of God stop embarrassing yourself. On a great or even good team Jeudy is a number 3 WR and an overpaid bust of a number 3 WR at that.

No one in their right mind will trade for Khalil Mack with that contract.  It will be an easier and cheaper negotiation with him as a free agent and I guess the Chargers know it

So what is Sweat’s trade value? Sheil made a good point that Chubb landed a 1st & Montez Sweat landed a high 2nd. Those were both at the trade deadline mid season. I’d say Josh Sweat is definitely in the same range as those two. And If it’s true that this DE draft class is not that special, a team needing a pass rusher could be willing to make that deal.

Reddick looked like a bust because he was playing out of position and Arizona had no idea what they were doing. Huffs 2022 season was 3.5 sacks, 10 QB hits and 2 TFL along with 4 total tackles.

Like I said, the leap of faith is asking him to play way more than he ever has at any point in his career and not just be a situational guy. And to make sure those are quality snaps while he’s playing more.

The Eagles goal is always a rotation anyway.

Guys only play more when injuries happen.

Huff won't be increasing to 950 snaps next year.

He is by default as singletary is a FA. Thats why i think Barkley goes there

Ah I see what you’re saying now. Yea I’ve felt that Barkley’s most obvious spot has been the Texans also. That said, I’m actually pretty keen on Eagles signing Barkley.

Trade Sweat for a 1 package the two 1’s with Squirts and sweeten the deal with Reddick and get Caleb, easy Super BowlzZzzz

I'm more of a Keith Sweat fan.

I’d be for Barkley if we weren’t paying hurts and having to also pay smith and Dickerson. Plus i think a team like the Texans can afford to slightly overpay for him with their roster construction. Plus if contracts were close having no state tax helps them. I think financially with that and having to also basically fix most of the defense it doesn’t make much sense. I actually think there’s gonna be be bargains after the first waive of free agency at RB.

None of them are better than Jeudy as of right now. So the statement remains, he's a 2 on at least half of the teams on the league. There are a couple that are debatable.

Also so you understand what moving the goal posts actually is, it's now saying "on a good or great team he's a 3"

Greenard, Huff, Curl, Gardner-Johnson at nickel

Draft 1st round CB, LB and WR in round 2, RB in round 3.

Seems we are super bowl bound if the QB is up to par.

Which CB with Q and Arnold off the board at 22 ? I guess KoolAid at least IMO as the safest. Another idea considering that the WR class is so unusually outstanding, the 4-5th best receiver should be there at 22 and on a rookie contract for 5 yrs … AD

I don't think McKinney will be either. Giant players agents leaking stuff  to the media about Eagles to scare the Giants into paying up. I think the Huff, CJGJ rumors are legit though.
