I don't,  not at all.   Taking an OT when the Eagles have 5 starters on the OL seems like a mistake.

They’re going to most likely take an OT, accept it already.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

I have conflicting thoughts on the Baker Mayfield deal. I would never ever want him as the starter of my team, but the Bucs have horrible draft position. It’s not THAT bad of a deal, especially when you compare it to what Daniel Jones got and what Kirk Cousins will get. That said, I would rather just pay more for someone better, although I’m not sure there is someone better available.

My eyes are getting bad. I read that initially as guaranteed against aging.

Found the closet Baker fan

Free agency begins at 12 noon tomorrow.  Correct?

Not 12 midnight tonight.

Am I right? I think that's what I remember reading.

I thought FA started the 13th & legal tampering starts today

When I say free agency starts,  I mean legal tampering.  When deals start getting announced,  that's free agency to me.  I don't care about the technical start of the new league year.  I do believe that is on Wednesday.

I think legal tampering is 12 tomorrow at noon eastern

 Not tonight.

Hey buddy, I’m the open Jameis Winston fan. I don’t need a closet for nothing.

All 32 teams can begin negotiations with pending free agents starting March 11, and both signings and trades can be finalized starting March 13.

Yea it looks like you’re right, 12 tomorrow eastern time. I had my days wrong

I think we for sure grab one with one of the first 3 picks

Tylan Grable,  UCF OT,  5th round.  I think that he could be a good starter by the time the Eagles would need him to be,  which would be sometime around 2028, or whenever Lane wants to retire.   10 ras as Center,  9.98 ras as Guard, 9.85 as Tackle.

You're most likely wrong.

Unless you're talking day 3.

No I’m not, ask any eagles fan in here, read what Eagles beat are saying, they will most likely take an OT in the first round. You can cope all you want, tell me all about the Eagles needs I already know they have, and it won’t change anything. The most likely position Eagles are drafting in the 1st round will be an offensive tackle

Mayfield deserves it, and kudos for being smart enough in signing a fair deal.  He knows he’s not a $50M per year QB, but he could have been a dummy and pushed for $40M+

I think he set his value pretty much right ….. and he’ll take some aggravation from the NFLPA for signing it, but he knows it’s his career and livelihood he’s worrying about.

Dean Smith Davis and Ringo can’t all be busts, pray for 1 at least. Sadly I think the only one might be Ringo. I hope hope hope I’m wrong. Especially with Jordan Davis I mean its all there for him.

Smith and Davis will be fine.  Kids are hella athletes, have a great attitude and will work with the right coaching

I am believing there is a strong chance Mims is there, or within striking distance like 3 picks away or so. So, I put his chances of being an eagle at about 51%.

Athletes the size of him go in the top 10. But this draft has Joe Alt, and Olu Fashanu, and Fuaga. After all the QBs go, and CBs, and WRs, and 3 other OTs, Mims has a chance to be very near our pick and I just dont see Howie passing on that sort of athlete at the position.

Hes extremely raw, and thats why he wont be one of the first 2 or 3 OTs taken.

But that makes him fit our timeline perfectly.

I like Baker, think he’s a decent starting QB & that’s not a bad deal. But nothing the Bucs have done really make me think they’re any type of contender

I’ve thought about the same thing. We’ll for sure see 4 QB, 3 WR, 2 CB, 2 DE, 1 TE, 4 OT, all go before 22, that’s 16 guys. Plus there’s a possibility of 2 DT, Bo Nix, Brian Thomas Jr, Adonai Mitchell, Troy Fautanu, and Jackson Powers-Johnson going ahead of 22 also. So I agree it’s very reasonable to say Mims will be there, and if he is he’s going to be the pick. It all makes too much sense with him & Howie’s MO. I did a mock & I had Mitchell/Mims available, even with a great 1st rd CB available I still think Howie takes the OT over him.

He also has a great weapon in Evans still

Could see the Bucs going after Ridley now.

Yes.  Mayfield is smart enough (he learned the hard way from bouncing around the league a bit) to know he’s the unopposed starting QB for a decent team.  Evans, Godwin, Rachaad White are the components of a decent offense.

I’m not sure what their other team needs are, but drafting at #26 there could be a really good WR prospect on the board at their pick.
