Sheil dropped Brian burns in a trade to the niners on his podcast the other day. They have the draft picks and in win now mode to make that type move. Granted don’t know how they afford him and multiple players who are gonna be FA soon along with purdy gets paid in a year.

Niners seem like the kind of organization that will make Purdy play his 4th year on his entry level deal in 2025, then franchise tag him for 2026.

Possible. I wouldn’t be completely shocked at that either. They also have aiyuk, ward, greenlaw, Lenoire and Hufanga as FA at the end of 2025. Have a feeling hargrave is likely getting released next offseason as a post June 1st cut. I still think with the amount of draft capital they have and losing Armstead they are going to a team that potentially makes a big trade
