I expect to see at least one of the following Birds transactions today, and maybe more than one (not saying I love or hate any of them, just most likely things):

-Eagles sign Bryce Huff

-Eagles sign Azeez Al-Shahir

-Eagles sign Justin Simmons

-Eagles trade Josh Sweat for a 2 and a 6

-Eagles sign Jerome Baker

-Eagles resign D’Andre Swift

Signing Bryce Huff makes no sense, he can't stop the run at all and that becomes a huge issue if you move to 3-4 because Reddick isn't much good at it either.

Again not saying whether I agree with them or not, just predictions. What I’d personally love to see is to move off Sweat and then trade for Burns, but I don’t see that happening. And there is the possibility they move both Sweat and Reddick but I find that scenario less likely.

We’ve ran a lot of 3-4 since Gannon. I don’t think it will be that big of a deference from then to now.

It will if neither of our OLB's can cover or stop the run.

Still nothing on:

Sweat trade

Reddick trade

Dickerson extension

Smith extension

Swift re-signing

Howie sleeping.

Covering doesn’t matter at all at the position. Most 3-4 you still have 4 pass rushers in your base set.

Sweat/Reddick do fine against the run, they’re supposed to have some sort of contain, to allow the other 7 players on defense to rally to the ball and play run support, which our biggest issues were last season.

Howie just rolled out of bed and did three pushups.

He’s not on the open market, but he’s better than Brooks.

I'll take him and swift.  But not just him.

This has to be an all-time smokescreen.

Caplan and Mosher say mutual interest between Philly and Van Ginkel.

But for who then? Jacobs?

Jacobs > Barkley

Eagles interest in Barkley isn't surprising after watching how much McCaffrey helped Purdy.  Swift isn't that guy and Barkley is as close as the Eagles can get.  With Moore as OC the RB position becomes more than the afterthought it has been.

The Barkley stuff still makes no sense and I’d be shocked if he comes here

Swift is every bit as good as Barkley.

Neither can take the pounding of a McCaffrey role.

But both can combine to handle it.

Mosher and Caplan say the Eagles are interested in Blake Cashman but haven’t heard them tied to Josey Jewell.

They also mentioned Oren Burks as a second wave of FA addition.

Disagree that Swift is as good as Barkley.   Won't get both.  I'm OK with Swift, but he isn't a #1.  Neither do I want to pay for 3 years of Barkley, which is what I think it will take to sign him.  But I see why the Eagles would be interested.   Copy cat league and if you don't have Mahomes you gotta do something.

I'm surprised that we haven't had the Henry to the Eagels rumours yet.  They seem to be an annual occurrence at this point but comes with Demarco Murray vibes

Instead of signing Saquon, how about we just get an early down runner with some size and somebody - ANYBODY - at RB who can pass protect.

You don't need everything in one guy, but you should have everything. Complete negligence last year with the skill composition of the RB room.

I like Cashman. Wanted him in that draft.

Seems like a cheaper, but not too cheap,  effective signing.

Very athletic with decent size.
