And their crap O in general. This team values the pass catching/blocking back very highly. Also one factor I believe is, he's as good of a personality and leader as you will find in the league. Our locker room taking major hits I think that also comes into play on why Howie may be looking at him.

Sweat/Reddick do fine against the run, they’re supposed to have some sort of contain, to allow the other 7 players on defense to rally to the ball and play run support, which our biggest issues were last season. 

How often is Fangio rushing 5?  So on passing downs one of the OLB's is going to drop into cover the shallow routes because the Safeties are always sat deep, Neither Reddick, Sweat or Graham is any good at that.

I'm looking at Anthony Walker at the Browns, and he looks like a Howie 'might be OK if it all works out' linebacker all day, not quite 30? CHECK, good three years ago but injured the last 2 seasons so available for cheap? CHECK

We wanted him 2 to 3 years ago. I'd imagine he's slowed down a bit now. I think we can do better and younger. 

I would just prefer a LB signing where I don't have to say "Who?" to myself like I did last year with Morrow.

My issue is, for the excitement over his talent, speed, and size- he creates next to nothing. And despite his size, he doesnt run with any power and gain touch yards.

 

Im not against signing him. I think if they sign him its because the RB market is depressed, and they should sign 2 guys.

For his size and power, he doesn't seem to have good contact balance.
