  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

You will get Gainwell and Van Ginkel and you will like it 🤮🤮🤮

Then who are we getting any cheaper

We aren't getting anyone anyway

Barkley at 11M/Y > Swift at 8M/Y.

If we are going to spend on an RB, would rather spend more and get Jacobs over Barkley.  Even though he had a down year last year, he is a strong runner who doesn't go down on first contact.

Can't wait for the McKinney to GB news.

We'll extend Dickerson, make a run at someone like Van Ginkel and the rest will be bargain bin.

Lurie is too cheap to go after the top names again.

Barkley averaged more yards after first contact than Swift last year.

Because the Eagles have such a great OL,  any given RB should do better with the Eagles.  But,  Barkley was still better, with a lesser OL.

He and Aaron Rodgers are going to run out of the tunnel with the American flag next year, and then both get hurt on the very first play.

He's spending the same money either way. Howie is just trying to out smart everyone again

1,500 touches already in his NFL career for Jacobs. I'd stay away from both.

I'd rather not go after Barkley. Feels like you're just going after his name and he really barely has that. His stats aren't that impressive

We made our big move for the day. Pack it up

I don’t disagree with you on I wouldn’t go after him. It’s gonna be too much money at that position. But some of his stats are skewed because the Giants haven’t had a good quarterback, and their offense of line has been bad since he’s gotten there.

$12mm/year? No thanks. Unless it's a lot of back loaded funny money. We can't guarantee him more than ~$18 million, IMO.

That would be so stupid and very unlike Howie.

Other RBs have had bad QBs and lines and still succeeded though. It's just the 1st round hype

I still don't believe this, but if we give him 12/year I'm going to be livid that we didn't sign Swift for less.

I’d be happy with Barkley, as long as we sign a safety and linebacker.  We need plus players there.  Should be more of a priority.

He’s spending john middleton’s stupid money

When has it ever not been backloaded funny money?
