You pay all of this money to Barkley, he better be a focal point of the offense. That means Brown, Smith, etc are getting fewer looks.

I just really don't like this deal.

I think the reality better be that Hurts stays in the pocket and Smith, Brown, and Barkley get the ball. Don't really see a bunch of Hurts scrambles when you pay that to bring in a RB and you still have Smith and Brown to target

So we will either get Barkley, or we won’t get Barkley.

Glad that’s cleared up.

Called it!

with barkley the win rate on 3rd and short should be best in the nfl with the oline. moore is a OC with more nfl experience then the last guy learning how to call an offense

Just because the Bears are stupid doesn't mean we need to be.

The play would be to find the next Swift -- guy on a rookie deal who needs a change of scenery.

Whatever, it's done. Just sign a LB and safety please.

The same scenario may not play out year over year, and I think that Howie has generally made the right moves (definitely some misses).  It may not work out but doesn’t mean our org is any way comparable to the Bears.

I’d be pretty content if we signed Kenny Moore, cashman and Justin Simmons. Deal one of Reddick or sweat

Huff plays Reddick’s position. We have Smith as the backup on a cheap rookie contract. Reddick wants big money.

We are definitely trading Reddick IMO.

I mentioned Reddick and a 2nd for a first round pick before as a trade I’d like to see. Get it done Howie!

I don’t think that’s what it means at all. Rather Hurts, Gainwell and our 3rd HB would get less rushes. We ran the ball over 400x last season, giving Saquon 275-300 is practical.

Where was this stat when Mamula played🤔

Mamula has always gotten a bad rap. Not his fault he was drafted so high.

He’s getting high… clearly going to Denver

The NFC is pretty wide open. I'm expecting a down year from SF next year, Dallas is Dallas but still good, Detroit will still be good, Rams solid, but not really any significant hurdles. This team has a 2-3 year window to make another Super Bowl with AJ in his prime, DeVonta still under contract, and Lane in his twilight. This move puts them right in the mix as a favorite. As much as I like Hurts, he's not Allen, Mahomes, or Burrow who can carry a team in the passing game. This needs to be a more run-oriented offense and they can run Saquon into the ground these next two years. It's a big help for Hurts.

In an ideal world, yes.

The Eagles love to rotate those backs though. Hopefully Moore puts the end to that.

Thats the one I saw, with another. No one else saying it yet though so wait and see

If they want to pay for Barkley, I don't like it, but fine whatever. But where I'll really be pissed is if they have to trade a player at a more premium position because the gave Barkley this money. Like trading AJ Brown who's the best WR in franchise history or they are trading both Reddick and Sweat to afford this move, which would be asinine.
