Ok I love the Barkley deal

You pay all of this money to Barkley, he better be a focal point of the offense. That means Brown, Smith, etc are getting fewer looks.

I just really don't like this deal.

Not necessarily. It means you don't have Hurts run the ball 150 times and you don't give the ball to Gainwell 84 times.

In 2022, Barkley carried 295 times for 1300 yards and 10 TDs. He also had 57 catches. THAT is why he's here.

He's coming here to be the bell cow. He's not getting only 230 carries like Swift did.

The NFC is pretty wide open. I'm expecting a down year from SF next year, Dallas is Dallas but still good, Detroit will still be good, Rams solid, but not really any significant hurdles. This team has a 2-3 year window to make another Super Bowl with AJ in his prime, DeVonta still under contract, and Lane in his twilight. This move puts them right in the mix as a favorite. As much as I like Hurts, he's not Allen, Mahomes, or Burrow who can carry a team in the passing game. This needs to be a more run-oriented offense and they can run Saquon into the ground these next two years. It's a big help for Hurts.

if love makes another jump next year the packers are gonna be right there.  I actually think rams and packers are gonna make another jump

Barkley is a monster you guys are crazy, did I want him no, and not for crazy money but now that we have him, facts are facts. He is tier 1

Hold up didn’t they report earlier they restructured the deal to keep him and jacobs

The thing about Barkley is that he is excellent in pass pro.  Swift couldn't do it to save his life.  Big upgrade in that respect.  Means you don't have to take him off on pass downs which makes our offense less predictable to the defense.

Packers did Jones dirty

Not a great group to be competing with

we do need a 1-2 punch.

But it can come late in free agency or in the draft now.

If Jones is on the marker a few weeks from now, bring him in.

He wasn't tier 1 last year.  Has to prove last year was a fluke on a horrid team. No excuses.

If they want to pay for Barkley, I don't like it, but fine whatever. But where I'll really be pissed is if they have to trade a player at a more premium position because the gave Barkley this money. Like trading AJ Brown who's the best WR in franchise history or they are trading both Reddick and Sweat to afford this move, which would be asinine.

We signed Huff to replace Reddick IMO. They both play that left sided hybrid rush LB position.

So we get younger and cheaper there, plus get draft picks for Reddick. Smart move IMO.

Hurts is going to run anyway, it's in his DNA.

The Eagles are clowns when it comes to rotating backs. They need to make damn well sure he's the primary guy.

He's best in a rotation but that would be a good pick up. Dude has a 5.0 career avg. One of the most underrated backs out there.

Texans made sense cause they have a cheap rookie Qb contract and could use a RB. Wouldn’t be surprised if Aaron jones goes there. He played his college ball at UTEP

Texans that low on Pierce all of a sudden?

And then sign a 27 year old back that gets injured

Saquon behind this OL could be different. 1700+ or bust.

If they take a tackle in 1st rd I’m going to be so mad

They may overtake us soon as the best line in the league. I was hopping we could land Hunt for RG.
