McKinney to the Packers. I think Eagles will pivot to CJGJ.

I would have much preferred investing in McKinney than Barkley.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

1200 yards isn't saying much. 17 Games now... he should roll over in his sleep and get that.

I put that as an average number dependent upon carries.   Combined with catching yards Saquon at 100% has an 1800+ yard potential for this offense.

Get Simmons or CJ

I mentioned this the other day. Don't thinbk Eagles would go higher than a 5th.

I'd be down with that.

Not a fan of Barkley but might be even less of a fan of the McKinney deal. Glad they didn't top that.

Jones has gashed Dallas as of late. Can see Jerry Jones being very happy to have him on his squad. I think the Texans are a good spot for Derrick Henry.

Kind of think could see jones go after Henry.

Miles Sanders had 1200 yards.

No McKinney hurts

I was anti Bijan for where they were picking last year

Me too. My point is I’d rather give Saquon a nice contract than use a very high draft pick on an unproven player. It’s kinda like, would you rather have Saquon + Jalen Carter or Bijan + expensive DT in FA

Hahahahaha found one!

I wasn't for drafting a RB at #10.  Never would be.

I'm also not for paying $13M per year to an older, oft-injured RB who averages 4.0 yards per carry.

Still think Simmons makes the most sense. He’s likely here for a year or two. They drafted brown and like Blankenship so they are likely the long term options they want to be starters. Brown likely not ready again til end of this year

Not sure how relevant this is. Most metrics are nonsense. And I say this as someone who disliked the signing.

It matches the eye test.  As I said he creates next to nothing on his own.

Maybe… maybe not. Who knows, he might turn into a 2k all purpose guy and be the difference in us grinding out wins versus giving the ball to a bend don’t break defense who ultimately breaks every time?

Smith and Brown still need to get the ball

That really sucks and is a hard one to take.

I don’t want a safety at 17 million, maybe even more than I don’t want a rb at 12 million…

Simmons for sloppy seconds. The forever revolving door.

McKinney is good, but got paid like a top 3 safety, which he is not. I was out at that cost.

What's the alternative at RB with Swift gone? Gainwell? Gus Edwards? Aaron Jones probably would have made sense but he just got released today.

Exactly

But that’s kind of my worry here. They’ve spent too much on Barkley it seems yet we wouldn’t spend a little extra on a S. I know that’s a lot of money and I’m not saying that’s the move they should have made but it’s all part of the constant overlooking of the position.

Have to see the real money, but that’s more than I expected.

Lol I don't know what I'd do if Howie drafted a RB at #10. It wouldn't be good
