Don't think the Eagles were ever getting a 2nd for Reddick. They'd be foolish to dump him for anything less. Sweat probably has more value. Hopefully Eagles can get a 2nd for him. The Giants 2nd was an early 2nd so maybe they can get a late 2nd.

To be fair it’s the old Panthers front office that screwed this up, they make the trade a year ago like they should have, they’d have a bunch of picks. Carolina is the new Washington Commanders, gonna be awful forever with Tepper there.

Overpaid for a decent guard, no WR, still a huge ? with their QB. But they have 2 2nd rd picks!!!

True but they passed on Stroud for Young

Giants pay all that money & trade all those picks to still go 6-11 this year

Still the draft. I expected them to invest in the defense significantly through the draft before FA started. Outside of finding Lane's replacement and slot WR...the offense is set

Counting on Howie drafting defensive players to save the defense, great...

That’s all hindsight to me, a ton of people said Stroud was going to be a bust

Yup. Burns was 25 years old and probably entering his prime years and only got a 2nd and a 5th

I think having to give him 87.5 million played a role in the trade compensation.

Baun is actually a stud. Two whole sacks in his 4 year career.

We will never have LBs in Philadelphia

I don't know enough about him to say it's going to be a home run signing but NO only apparently realized in his 4th year that he was best used on the line of scrimmage. And one of the two sacks was against all-world OT Penei Sewell, who he beat like a drum. 🤷‍♂️

Think, as Bo Wulf tweeted, this plus their interest in Mack Wilson, and the Huff signing are evidence that Fangio wants to rotate a bunch of hybrid LB edges. To me, this says Sweat is the more likely DE to be traded.

Draft the best CB available and then Cooper in the 2nd rd... I'm cool with that

Being from Ohio state I would of bet the same.

The Eagles do things that piss me off, but thank the Lord I'm not a Panthers fan. Yikes.

If Caleb sucks then how would you describe Fields

Not great but rather build around him then the next Johnny Manziel

Ah yes the annual nobody LB signing on day 1.  Classic

Going into last year's draft I always told my buddy's "never draft an Ohio State qb. Stroud is the exception"

I was high on him. Didn't look like your typical OSU qb

F it, I played Mike in high school. I’m 40 now, but with the way this team values linebackers, I feel like I have a good shot making the team.  😂

The Giants basically trades Leonard Williams for Burns. Awesome move.

16 months ago they said no to 2 1st rd picks & a 2nd for him. Then trade DJ Moore & a future 1st/2nd for a QB they still are unsure about. They have no 1st this year in an amazing WR class.

Is there a team that’s less appealing to be a fan of than the Carolina Panthers right now? Maybe the broncos?

Yeah I’m fine paying Brian burns that type of money when he’s 25 and likely about to head into the prime of his career. Reddick is about to be exiting his in 2 years and wants 22-25 mil per year. Burns easily gets a first last year if the panthers didn’t botch this situation.

I’m now hoping we use Reddick as a trade piece to move up in the 1st round. That sounds more appealing to me than a 3rd rd pick or later. Go up & get your CB or OT

Kyler can at least still be exciting sometimes. They also have a bunch of draft picks, and they are the front runner for one of the best WR prospects in the past 10 years. There’s at least something to be happy about there
