  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

The Bengals now have pick 97, which we had. Looks like we got bumped down to 98.

The Giants basically trades Leonard Williams for Burns. Awesome move.

Thats a great move by the giants. Avoid paying Williams, get a better player and get burns for basically Williams.

True

16 months ago they said no to 2 1st rd picks & a 2nd for him. Then trade DJ Moore & a future 1st/2nd for a QB they still are unsure about. They have no 1st this year in an amazing WR class.

Is there a team that’s less appealing to be a fan of than the Carolina Panthers right now? Maybe the broncos?

Fields to Seattle is the speculation now.

Is it not telling to these Bears fans yet that teams don’t want Fields as their starter & Caleb will 100% be their new QB? I cannot handle seeing these fans still pushing for keeping Fields anymore

I'd keep Fields if I was the Bears.   Wasn't Caleb Williams crying or something for some reason or other?

The Bears typically lose, right?  They really haven't done anything noteworthy since the Super Bowl Shuffle.  Keep Fields.  Build that run first offense with running QBs.   A 1/1 pick is really valuable,  you can turn that into a ton of first round picks in the future.  Maybe you suck and lose again this year.  The Bears didn't suck last year,  low-mid, I'd say.   If I'm the Bears I'm going to try to see if I can sign Fields cheaply but for a long time.   "Hey Fields, buddy,  we could try to trade you, you'd be a backup,  you'd like to make $50 M a year,  but the results don't warrant that.  But we could give you 10 or 20 M a year for 4 years.   And we might want you to be versatile.  We might want to put another version of you to throw to you.  We like the 6'3 227 and 4.45 40."

Most 1st round picks at QB are pretty close to failures.   Most 1st round picks don't get to the playoffs, don't win a playoff game.   Mariota did,  but Eagles fans think 6th round McKee is a better idea.  Mariota and Fields have been better than the average first round pick over the last 10 or so years.   You have names like Zack Wilson, Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen on the list of first round QBs of the last 10 years.   Fields hasn't been bad and neither has Mariota.  They're mid.

A 1/1 is 3000 Jimmy Johnson points.

Keep em both!!! Wooo

I mean - they’re both still technically under contract for next season.  I’m guessing it depends on whether or not they would hold out or play with a solid chance of getting a ring.

Getting rid of Sweat or Reddick for nothing would ruin the offseason for me. They're good players. They should not be desperate just to get rid of them. And what they bring will be much more valuable than a 3rd round pick.

Ah yeah, good one. Panthers fans have to face at least another year or two of them being awful, but eventually they might get back on track.

Saints will live in cap hell & being the dictionary definition of mid for the next 5+ years.

Ekeler to WAS

Ekeler to the commanders. They are gonna suck this year, and probably the year after.

OHHHH interesting thought here. 33 for Tee Higgins makes a ton of sense!! They do this & I might take back what I said

No, but maybe they offer 39 for Reddick or Sweat to fill the shoes of Burns. Redundant but they don't have to pay $150m.

Ekeler to Washington

I think that’d be a huge mistake. If you have a QB on a rookie deal, your first priority needs to create the best possible environment for him. Whether that’s OL, WR, TE, or RB. Defense goes to the back burner imo. Look at the jump you saw with Allen after Diggs trade, Jalen after AJ Brown, Burrow after Chase etc

Go get Young a true WR1 if you want to give him an actual shot
