The top 3 are f'n gone. Luvu, Brooks, Al-Shaair. Queen is left but let's be real, no chance there, then under achievers. Jerome Baker is meh. The Dolphins just cut him and signed f'n Brooks, tells you all you need to know about Baker. 

 

I will say, I expect the Eagles to do more, and I do like the Huff signing, but right now, in the moment, it is kind of annoying that after the season the Eagles had, their two big signings are positions that were fine in 2023, and seems like the majority of their offseason attention will be spent reshaping the EDGE position, when their back 7 was an unmitigated disaster in 2023.

Again, I expect them to do something in the back 7, but just right now, it leaves a bad taste.

And there is the back of my mind where last year we all assumed they'd eventually do something at safety and LB and suddenly May comes along and they just never did. Don't think it'll be a repeat, but still have PTSD from that.

Anybody excited about the Barkley signing?  I think it looks like too much money and time for a guy that can’t stay healthy.  He isn’t the transformational player many thought either.

Tell that to Calias Campbell. Depends on the scheme, I don't think Fangio runs a traditional 3-4, more of a one gap 3-4 where the DE attack through B gaps, the NT occupies the center, and you send inside blitzes through the A gaps with your ILBs - which is why you need more LB types at OLB, b/c they'll have to drop into coverage on a regular basis (this allows you to only send four, but by disguising your pass rushers, get favorable blocking matchups).
