Still not a bad deal. Paying him 5.75 mil per year. And they don’t have to run him into the ground as they have Robinson as well

That's a formidable running game if they can get out of the backfield.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Quiet market for the good, but older and oft-injured Tyron Smith.

He strikes me as the guy that will wait until after training camp to sign with someone

Guessing with their first pick it’s gonna be Qb. After that they really should look to draft some young OL and develop them. I’d say add in FA a veteran or 2 for some stability

If you would have asked me how old Josh Adams was, 27 and in the same class as Saquon wouldn't have been anywhere near my guess.

Picked up a thing or two from Jason Peters

The Eagles signed one of the best playmakers/RB's in the league, signed a 25 year old 10 sack pass rusher with upside, and re-signed Dickerson for four years all before the first day of legal tampering is even over and several people are whining. Never change TATERS.

The trailblazing Ben DiNucci there too...

Maybe because they drafted Daniel Jones in 2019.

It doesn’t take prime Peyton Manning to hit a RB from 5 yard out.

Saquan Barkley is not remotely one of the best playmakers in the league.

They had a big day. But they didn’t focus on areas that crippled us last year. Until linebackers, safeties, and corners are upgraded/added people won’t be happy and for good reason.

I'll stand by my statement.

Already got rid of both coordinators

I wasn't aware teams weren't allowed to sign, trade for, and draft more players after the first day of legal tampering.

Thanks for the laugh

Yup when Howie said they may rethink how they approach roster building I thought maybe Howie will finally take LB seriously, didnt think hed go back to 1980 and spend big on a RB🤷‍♂️

No time for trading comprehension when you come in occasionally just to make a dumbarse of yourself.  Duh.

If they grab one of Cooper, Gray, or Wilson at LB and one of Nubin or Bishop at S in RD2, I will feel better about today.

Every free agency I like to prank my dad (he’s a 49ers fan) and make up a fake 49ers trade. He’s not a social media kinda guy & only hears about NFL news a day or two after it happens

This year I told him Purdy was traded to the Titans

Yeah, I'm really making a dope of myself for not being negative after they added two really good players and re-signed a core piece on the first day of legal tampering. Oh and God forbid I actually have a good and busy life and am unable to spend half my day on the EMB blog like legends such as yourself 🤣 Great post Riley Cooper.

For the sake of consideration, isn't it at all possible that simply improving our offensive efficiency can help lessen the defensive load? If we can stay on the field longer, we can keep our key defensive players fresher throughout the game. If we can score more points, we can potentially have larger leads late in games and make opposing offenses more predictable. If we can milk the clock better with leads, we can close out games without needing a big defensive stop.

Obviously defense is important, but people are overlooking what a strong, running offense can do to help a defense out.

EXACTLY, which is why there is less than zero reason to complain. Thanks for proving my point for me.
