• For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

At that point, fire Nick, hire McDonald as HC and get J. Johnson as OC.

Funny to include the second line.

I've had enough Watkins to disappoint me in a lifetime

I thought they said yesterday that the meeting would be today?

If they fire him they're going to be even more behind the 8 ball than they were with Doug. This would be two weeks behind the other teams now. They seem well run in may regards, but every time it comes to coaches them just seem completely dysfunctional.

Lurie got wind of his initial plan and he told Sirianni to try again.

I've always found Bo to be highly annoying, even going back to his Eagles media days, just comes across as an infallible blowhard; Zach I really have no issue with.

Watched the PHLY pod a few times and the whole dynamic is horribly off, especially without Marissa.

Zach Berman was great on Daily News Live...man what a great show that was.

Agree, Bo is just unbearable.

1. Talent, yes.  I believe this team generally didn't have a lot of depth behind the starters.  When Goedert went down we had almost no production from the TE position.  When AJ was brown Quez was a poor replacement.

2. Execution, yes.  Did you ever once say "wow, that was a nicely executed screen" play during the season?  Most of the times we tried to run a screen I would just cringe and hope for the best.

3. Play calling, yes.  This has already been beaten to death, but yes.  Stieichen >> Brian Johnson.   Why the hell didn't we bring in Reich?

That is a funny typo.

I looked it up.  Very close.  It was MIKE Patrick.

I was going to suggest Mike at first. Couldn’t remember and thought Dan. I got the Patrick right!

I don't like the idea of an up and comer to be the OC with this team but I was a big fan of Johnson in college and was hoping he would stick around when the Eagles brough him in. If they want to bring him in on a lower level I'm all for that.

Lurie got a little too much sun and needs the day to recover.

Don't want him.  He doesn't see any of the faults with Hurts.  Only focusing on scheme which often are his assumptions.

Nah. The new rules have pushed back the hiring process and they're already working behind the scenes on candidates.

Doesn't mean we'll hire the right person, but it'll be ok.

The only vacancy that’s been filled is the Pats, right? I don’t think they are behind if he gets let go tomorrow. I doubt any of the big names sign within 24 hours.

Remember last time they wanted to hire Brandon Staley and Arthur Smith but the reporting at the time was "Since the Eagles got a late start, they were already too deep into negotiations with those teams to start negotiating with the Eagles" so the Eagles basically snoozed themselves out of the running for them. And they still have to comply with the Rooney Rule too before they can make a hire.

Jerod Johnson is the Texans QB coach? That’s a little enticing tbh.

We already signed him back in 2011

People will hate it because he has worked with Sirianni.  So they'll view it as more of the same running siris offense.

That's not why we didn't get either. It's been reported that Arthur Smith didn't like the Eagles pitch.

At this point, I would want a proven OC with play calling experience.

And someone who can design and run an NFL scheme.
