I think it's likely he makes the team just because we have no veterans at all at the moment. But it wouldn't be totally unprecedented to end up cutting him either. We gave Greedy Williams like $600k guaranteed or something early on in FA just to cut him.

Her performance might be the best I've ever seen in a horror movie. Too bad the Academy doesn't really pay attention to that genre.

I loved Sweat as a pick, like him as a DE, but also like the news of unloading him.

The return on that first round Nolan Smith pick really deteriorates if he's buried behind multiple players as a never utilized backup edge in year 2.  That's a fast track to Andre Dillard status.

Unloading Sweat means they think they will actually use Smith with success.

I made a sarcastic comment about it earlier but having a solid long snapper is one of those things we take for granted. Since 2000, the Eagles have had 3 long snappers.

Oh yeah don’t take my jokes as not happy we brought back Lovato. I wanted him back here, same with Mann. You never appreciate a quality LS until you get a bad one that whiffs on a snap for an important field goal, or whiffs on a snap during a punt & opposing team recovers. I feel a lot better about our special teams today.

Agreed, just a depressing 2nd day when the highlight is your LS and P coming back.
