It's a damn disgrace for them to have not signed one if the better LB. Howie is overrated as well.

I like the Saquon signing, but I would have been more than ok with paying a little extra to land Patrick Queen with what he got.

He doesn't have a damn clue with defense, I thought Fangio would've been helping out but this looks like a full on Howie debacle. They should've brought in a new lieutenant to lead the way and help Howie with this. No clue what is going on but this defense is a disaster and the main guys are now picked through. It's like they lost McKinney and were completely shell shocked and never could pivot effectively. If they lose Simmons, this free agency period is a wrap

Wagner? No thanks. Baker is a very good fit here. I agree on Simmons. And CJGJ if it’s to play slot/hybrid. 

Of all the LBs, the Brooks contract is the only one I would have confidently done. Queen was too rich, Jewell as well. Maybe I would have done the Cashman deal. Gay isn’t good. Murray was wildly overpaid. 

Is Devin White still out there? He had a down year but can't think of any other LB worth punting for in free agency.

Still think Howie makes a trade out of nowhere...

Jerome Baker reminds me a lot of what they did with Nigel Bradham. Where Jim Schwartz came in and wanted Nigel Bradham. Kind of like how I could see fangio wanting Baker. Let’s just hope he doesn’t beat up a cabana boy.
 

Guys, I just got a call from Howie. I guess he saw my post about playing Mike in high school because he offered me a two-year deal worth $5 million. I reminded him that I’m 40 (going on 41), but he said he didn’t care. I told him that I was not in the same shape I was in high school, but he laughed and said, "Who is?”

He’s clearly desperate. I think I might do it.

A big no to Wagner for me.

I think Baker or White are the only reasonable options left outside of a trade.

For safety, hoping for favorable deals for CJ and Simmons both.
