For discussion purposes, now it looks like Mailata/Dickerson/Jurgens/Steen/Johnson.  With Hennessey and Fred Johnson as top backups under contract.

This scenario is screaming for high-end RT to be chosen in the draft.  It's a very deep class and there will definitely be options at #22.

Park the kid at RG for a couple of years.  Learn from Stoutland.  Maintain dominance at OL.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

I forgot besides trashing the fans when CJGJ left, he also took shots at Jonathan Gannon

I want that athletic freak that Stoutland can mold like Mailata, even if we have to trade up for him

Kind of surprised DeVonta hasn't been extended yet. I wonder if him and his agent are waiting to see what guys like Waddle, CeeDee, and St. Brown get to use as measuring sticks. DeVonta is in a weird spot negotiation wise because he doesn't have the numbers that those guys have, but he would if he was a #1 on another team.

Re McKinney

Can they bounce back or did they lose too many?

Feels like the whole WR market is stuck waiting on Jefferson and Lamb.

Best and biggest kick has to be 46 yards with 1 minute left in a certain 52nd annual game

Chime in, but the only "important" kick I can recall him missing was a 50+ yarder against the Rams in 2018 that would have sealed the game.

Or we draft a guard in round 2 and Steen is our swing tackle.

He's a number 1 but we're a running team. Plus Brown needs his targets

I'm sure our FO would like to get it done before the market resets.

Lol

Might as well wait a month for the deadline to pick up the 5th year option. Eagles will surely do that and then he has a guaranteed $15M to extend off of.

Probably. He had a really bad 2020 but nothing mattered that year anyway.

The is the best play, as not only will his 2024 extension not kick in until a year later (and WR market is way bigger), but his signing bonus is also a year further in proration before the new deal kicks in

Maybe.  Only if the alternative in round 1 (CB!) is better.

If the FO believes that they are getting an OT at 22 that would be a top-10ish player in other drafts, I'd support the move.

Not a sexy move but it's a smart one for long-term success

I could have swore they gave him a new deal during the season but apparently not.

Yikes

OT at #22 to be Lane's eventual replacement, while also providing depth would be great.

Just please, please get a top LB prospect in the 2nd who can be a day 1 starter and not an embarrassment at LB.

Re McKinney

Was consistent that I only wanted him if he wasn't going to get paid like a top 5 safety, which he is. I'd rather have CJGJ + someone else at safety than just McKinney. Hopefully Eagles add another body there.

Dudes only 180 too, will have to put on some weight to convert to FS

Awesome value
