I really don't get why more people can't realize this. Jerry says he'd write any check for a Super Bowl, but then he never actually spends money. 23rd in cash spending in 2024 vs. 4th for the Eagles. And we're still adding people.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Sign him.

With Boston gone, there has to be someone on the team to continue the 'Great Scott' memes.

That or they bring back Josiah Scott

Remember when he was a hidden gem for about 2 weeks of his rookie year. Philly beat thought we had the next best thing.

Best and biggest kick has to be 46 yards with 1 minute left in a certain 52nd annual game

I hear ya... but by today's standard, that's supposed to be a gimme kick these days.  Granted, there is no such thing, but that's not a 'hard' kick by today's standards.

OT at #22 to be Lane's eventual replacement, while also providing depth would be great.

Just please, please get a top LB prospect in the 2nd who can be a day 1 starter and not an embarrassment at LB.

Don't hold your breath.

What's the hold up with Devin White? I thought he'd be one of the first players to sign somewhere. If he asks for a contract like the one Patrick Queen signed with the Steelers, I'm doing that without hesitation.

It's unlikely.  First one of the top guys has to make it and remember last year when Jack Campbell went higher than expected.  2nd no one else of a position of value has to have dropped to that spot that Eagles value more.   Third the guy has to actually be a good starter in year 1 which is unlikely in rd 2.  Low odds

Is that sarcasm? Devin White stinks. He'll be lucky to get 6m per season.

This LB free agent class is just so bad, it's a shame. The Eagles are going to need to get creative to upgrade that position. Or get lucky in the draft.

He’s not good.

If the market is as dead for Sweat as what's been implied, I wonder if Howie pivots to a move up the board in the first round. Targeting a RT.

Could do 22 and Sweat for a pick somewhere in the teens. Would return a 2nd/3rd in terms of trade "value."

He has pedigree and makes some splash plays that stand out to people who don’t pay close attention to him. Unless he’s blitzing, he’s been a liability. Even his pick against the Eagles, it only came because of a miscommunication between Swift and Hurts. Swift cooked him.

Is Fuller still out there at S?

Im envisioning Fuller, Gardner-Johnson backfield where either one of them can come down and cover a slot. Completely interchangable.

Curl or DeShon Elliott would be nice just to have someone solid, but Fuller adds that dynamic that makes it really hard to get mismatches on us then.

Fun(ny) fact of the day:

For his career, Dak has only nine wins when the Cowboys rush for under 100 yards. Nine.

Devin White lost his starting job last year, for those who don’t know.

He’s still available.

52minutes until the floodgates open

Realistically I'd say Tyrel Dodson is a player who can play LB in the nfl and not embarrass the city.  I know low bar

We should be flooded with signing announcements here in about an hour.

If White was a 4th round pick, no one would be talking about him. It's only where he was drafted. I think a lot of the Eagles inactivity at LB is just if they have players graded so low, they would prefer to see what Dean has in year 3 than signing these guys. If Fangio thought highly of Baker he'd have already been signed. Them not even pursuing him tells you they don't think he's any good. Or anyone else most likely. Not saying they won't sign anyone, but if they do they will probably wait out the market and sign someone ultra cheap. Maybe Bobby Wagner as depth in the 3rd wave of free agency. The trade market may be the better option or waiting until the draft.

Let's be real is anyone out there right now leaps and bounds better than Zach Cunningham?

I think Howie is playing this free agency right with exception to possibly, LB. Shocker there.

Safety has solid guys still out there. As does WR- a bunch. We signed a guy at each of those spots, but I feel we are not done.

Can still possibly get a decent backup RB if we want, but probably wait till after the draft.

And was a healthy scratch because of his attitude

He might be the last LB out there that I had on my list.
