Mods have trouble seeing a lot of things. For example @olsilverhair tiny lady d

lol "up to" $3M

I suspect Howie is done with the first wave of free agency.  Probably time to look at second tier players,,including players he might re-sign.  Can he resist Stoll, Boston Scott, Cunningham and Opeta?  Long shot Driscoll?  I wouldn’t be surprised by Stoll or Cunningham.

Here is Spotrac’s tracker which lists players pretty far down the talent scale.

Not many backs can handle almost 350 touches in a season, CMC is the exception and I would wager if they try to use him like that again this season he's going to break down. Somewhere between 15-20 touches a game will still get you what you paid for. We also have AJ Brown and Devonta Smith who need the ball too, you can't force feed Barkley because of how much he's paid.

It’s more about not having a rotation.

Last year Swift, Gainwell and Scott combined for 333 carries and 73 catches. 80+% of those should go to Barkley.

Let's not forget the wave of veteran releases as bonus payments come due in the next week or so.

Keep it classy Denver

Whoa. Ridley to the Titans

That's bad for us. Titans were one of the clear trade targets for Sweat or Reddick. They still have an EDGE need, but have less money.

That’s a stupid contract.

So they trade AJ because they don’t want to pay him and then pay a far inferior receiver $8 million less

This guy had Ridley way before anyone else and he also says the Chiefs will sign Hollywood Brown and the Jets will cut CJ Mosley. Mosley could be the guy Eagles are waiting for at LB. Though not a long term fix at his age.

And that contract for Ridley is insane. Lesson learned, don't trade young stud WRs.

I guess I have a higher opinion of Calvin Ridley than others on here

Careful. RTK was warned about stuff like that

I doubt Random Regular is as soft as some of the other people here.

Devonta Smith has a huge smile on his face right now

Sheil was saying that is likely the range for a Devonta Smith extension in the $23M-$25M per year range.  Solak was saying that $22M APY is the most of what they should offer which was insane.  Devonta is going to get paid and they should be trying to get that done sooner rather than later.

That Ridley contract is gross

I wouldn't touch Ridley at that price but this also the Jaguars fault for agreeing to that ridiculous trade stipulation

Different GMs

Different GM's/FO's. Trading Brown helped get the former fired.
