  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Jets had to do this as they're all in with Rodgers

Rodgers going to NY, having a big ceremony/celebration, hurting himself after 5 snaps, teasing a miraculous comeback for a full year, then retiring suddenly to run for VP would objectively be the funniest thing to happen in the NFL in recent memory.

Hey uhm where are the lbs? 🤣🤣🤣

Somewhere, there is a boat with his name on it. Last seen in Vietnam though

If we are planning to add a veteran LB, at this point I'd prefer to wait until the end of the preseason when teams are making final roster cuts. Those ones that are available will still have the benefit of TC and preseason work with their teams while we get to give our less experienced LBs more work. I still believe we'll draft a LB on day 2.

The sky isn't falling.

Sky is not falling.

BUT Id much rather have had 1 solid vet, plus a 2nd day draft pick

Rather than rely on Dean, and a draft pick.

That's how you end up with Cunningham and Morrow.

My new dream is a Trump, Biden, Rodgers debate.

I thought the deal looked more team friendly before this breakdown. Not sure I would have gone that route.

Geoff and Caplan have. no. sources.

LOL Barkley will meet the media in the coming days.  That's real inside info

To be fair, they probably recorded that podcast last night before things were finalized.

So if a guy who was a good pass rusher has a bad 8 game stretch in a defense that was essentially uncoached then he loses all value. I’m not buying it

I agree. I put our defensive failures at 80% coaching and 20% talent. As an example, putting Bradberry on another team’s fastest receiver with no deep help is on the coach. Doing it two or three times in a row is criminal. Bradberry is a boundary zone defender; used properly he is competent.

I’m far from an expert on mechanics and footwork, but it looks like this guys has had the worst coaching ever. This man doing the hip twist warm up on his drop back 🤣

I know. Listening to Caplan talk about it was laughable and Mosher was wondering why they would pay a guy so much who might have to come off the field on 3rd downs for Gainwell 🙄

Gainwell will only sniff the field when Saquon needs a break or in garbage time minutes.

Is he serious right now?

The Eagles shouldn't draft Jalen Hurts, it isn't fair to Carson Wentz. Same thing IMO.

when he is here, he will be coached up and live up to his names.

May even be better than Carson Strong and come for Hurts job.

Depends on the draft pick compensation. But otherwise I see no problem having Fields as a back up.

I’d take Fields. No reason not to, surely he can win us games if Hurts goes down and the play book wouldn’t have to be neutered.

I’d wait until the draft though.
