I bet it would be for Foye Oluakon. Expensive and on the final year of his contract. Muma appears to be his direct replacement.

Yea there were no amazing free agents but damn near every single one of the ones gone were far and away better than what we have. So now the only options are 1) trading for a linebacker and 2) relying on a draft pick that is probably going to be a day 3 pick based on this team's draft history.

People are annoyed that nothing has been done about what is by far the biggest hole on the team, so yea FA is basically over in that regard because the top options are gone. Any FA signing now is basically going to be a Cunningham or Morrow level player

Nah.. Morrow is gone too.   We'll be getting a guy in LESS demand than Morrow.   

 

And that's scary to consider.

Meanwhile, this team NEEDS a backup QB.  The idea that Tanner McKee can be that guy is a nice idea, but I think its much closer to wishcasting than it is reality.  

With CJ Mosley out, man the LB options are slim. Maybe Browns bringing in Devin White and also signing Jordan  Hicks they'll trade Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. He's been really good for them, so I don't know why they would, but if they sign White they'd have signed two LBs and maybe he's expendable for whatever reason.

LB trade options are slim. Might need to get Singleton back.

I beg to disagree. IMHO he’s strictly a third down back. Maybe a slot guy. CMC is an infinitely better inside runner.
