theyve signed most positions already.

Can still use a WR3, a RB2, TE2, QB2, DE, DT, S, CB, LB....

There could come a big lull and we see who else we can get super cheap after a week or 2.

Draft seems ripe for a WR3 in rd 2

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

In fairness to the Eagles,

I agree. What we overpay a mid level LB to be our savior? We brought CJGJ back who tends to be near the ball which we struggled with last year.

We picked up a pass rushing Ace, who if everything stays how it is, our Edge depth is upgraded with the two we’ve signed already.

We grab possibly, the most talented offensive player in free agency in Saquon.

And we grab a LBer who was a pro bowler 2 years ago, with a similar season following it, coming off of a bad season and a foot injury. He’s 26 years old, and has plenty of athleticism and downhill ability. We’re really splitting hairs with these LBers, we got one who has flashed in this league.

We’re paying 2 veteran CBs $30m, we have 3 young development corners behind them so we’re not gonna fly out and grab Sneed lol.

Anytime I see Jack Stoll's name I want to call him Jack Stool.

Now I can.....

well, I know everyone loves the White signing, but it cant all be positive.

This guy spends most of the video highlighting Barkley's pass pro trying to say its pretty good. Watch it, and you see its actually not good at all.

Posting because a lot of you seem to have bought in to the myth of Barkley's pass pro.

So which of your reps did he lose? You can use the timestamp

QB2 is the only "big” addition I see left. But yeah I think all of those spots become filled via wave 2/3 of FA, draft, & post draft whether that’s May or August.

Yeah after the way free agency has played out I really do expect a WR drafted in rd 2.

My current debate is Malachi Corley vs Roman Wilson

The simple fact of the matter is that the LBs in this free agency were all, I mean all, crappy. Well, mediocre if I’m being kind. If Queen was as good as it got, you got nada. White is no worse than any of the other guys. There are only about a dozen really good LBs in the whole league if that, and none of them got away.

Enough with the moaning and groaning already.

P.S. Dallas ended last season playing safeties at LB.

I like Wilson but I’m biased. Very biased.

Corley would be an absolute beast in this offense.

White sucks, and what’s worse, what he sucks at likely will be exposed here, and what he’s good at we probably won’t use enough to make a difference.

Guilty as charged.

I’ll be really interested to see the contract details for Cedrick Wilson, Dodson and White.

Any word on Simmons?

Now that he’s gone I can say that we overrated his blocking without people disagreeing with me.

Everyone just bought in to this idea that because he was the 2nd tight end, he was designated the blocking tight end and he was good at it. He was the jaggiest of jags at blocking and less than average receiving tight end.

Howie has completed his task of getting to the draft without any glaring needs on the roster.  He can convince himself he’s filled vacancies at RB, LB, S, and OL depth.  We’ll see if his free agent acquisitions turn out better than last year.

I don’t mind the Devin White signing.  He might not be a scheme fit, but neither was Cunningham, and he played pretty well on balance — considering he was signed to the roster in August.

Hopefully in the draft the Eagles can come away with a CB, IOL, TE, and WR with those first 4 picks in the top 100.

yes it does. But it can potentially be ripe for other stuff too so itd be nice to have an established player and not have to worry about missing out on anything in the draft.

his technique is horrible in every one of them.

If hes good at pass blocking they should be able to find some actually good reps.

Idk what Ryan Clark said but tiki is having himself a week and it’s not even Friday yet

Ill solve it for you. Corley shouldnt be anywhere near round 2.

But why settle for a slot only type WR that early in a draft loaded with talent at the WR position?

I think excluding a Josh Sweat trade & some bargain bin shopping, I think Eagles are probably done in free agency.

I dunno, does Parker move the needle at WR? A 31 year old who can't separate and a PR are the only WR on the team behind AJ and DeVonta. I'm all for adding a WR from a stacked draft class but I wouldn't be opposed to another WR.

They need a TE2 and a veteran backup QB. They could use another LB and S too. DT depth is light. Only 2 RB on the team but I can see them only carrying 3 with the 3rd being a draft pick.

If they don't trade Sweat this week, I think he's here until the draft and gets traded for pennies during the draft.

Worst LB in the league against the run last season?

Devin White

Beat guys still believe the Eagles could trade for a corner.

I really just wanted to sign a youngish LB with a high floor to a multi year deal. Those guys were available, but admittedly got good money (Cashman, Brooks, Al-Shaair) and a flyer like Kenneth Murray got crazy money. I had no interest in paying Queen either. Devin White, though, was the absolute last LB I would have wanted to sign. He just doesn’t fit unless Fangio is making some changes. I don’t see how a guy five years into his career is going to learn instincts and reining in his aggression.

I’m not sure White’s floor is even better than what Cunningham gave us last year, and I hated having him on the team.
