I think keeping Allen and moving on from Bosa or Mack would have been better. Give your QB something.

They're about to get MHJ, Rome or Nabers. All studs.

Rebuilding. Doing smart things.

Yea, getting rid of all the weapons for a QB you just paid who has been undercut his entire career while keeping around EDGE players in their mid 30’s is smart.

Judging by reports they just kept the ones who agreed to pay cuts and got rid of the ones that wouldn’t. Doing cheap things.

Somebody give me the Cody Barton advanced stats like the ones that show Devin White is a sucky player.

Barton is an unsigned LB with stats that make him look solid.

& they still have pick 9. Can beef up their OL some more, or trade back pick up some day 2 picks + whatever else. Exciting time to be a Chicago fan for sure

Oh I’m sure they will still screw it all up somehow.

I'm not going to lose sleep over Devin White as he's a camp body.

Howie doesn't think so

To be honest, I could kind of understand the Keenan Allen trade, he’s going to be 32 and he’s in the last year of his contract. And you’re likely not gonna give him a contract extension at that age. That said i do think Allen was likely worth more for 1 year then a 4th round pick but they also clear 23 mil in cap space by making the trade

Great strategy to clear all your cap space in the 4th wave of free agency

They’re still moving faster than Dallas to clear cap space…

Hollywood Brown to the Chiefs

ugh

Oh they should’ve had this crap with Mack, bosa, Mike Williams and Allen done way prior. Thats just poor job by harbaugh and their GM. However i can understand the move to trade Keenan Allen. Granted I’d have just kept him for a year cause i think he’s more valuable to Herbert as a no. 1

booooooooo

where is the Sneed trade though? Thought they were waiting on that for some reason.

Makes sense they needed a speed replacement for hill who they lost 2 years ago. MVS wasn’t good enough. Brown isn’t hill but he’s better than what they had. He fits really well with kelce and rice

Yeah I thought Mahomes restructuring would lead to Sneed staying. Curious we haven’t seen anything there. Sneed, Higgins, Sweat all looming valuable trade pieces still.

1 year deal. hmm.... some seemed to think he was gonna get paid. why just 1 year?

Please, please for the love of God still draft Cooper or Wilson in the 2nd.

Don't settle.

They could just draft a tackle. They need one badly.

I bet he took less and thinks a year with Mahomes will shoot his value up.

Not sure what’s more baffling. The Eagles plan at WR or what in god’s name they’re doing at edge rusher. Feels like the Eagles are done at WR until the draft. Which I would’ve been fine with if they signed a guy who could play the slot, but Parker just seems like a total waste of a roster spot and may not even make the team. And he’s an outside WR.

Marquise Brown is the best value signing of the offseason.

Betting on himself with mahomes. If he has a great year he’s back on the market next year and can cash in. Risky cause he hasnt exactly been the epitome of health the last two years.

Cedrick Wilson was the way to go. He could play all three WR positions. I really need to see his contract.

Apparently he makes too many business decisions, can't shed blocks, and is generally lost in coverage.

Well, we can still get speed with Chark and see how that reclamation project works, or we can get a proven legit #3 in Boyd.

After that, nothing at WR other than draft.

ok cross him off.

telling you what. Suddenly as the price drops a Justin Simmons signing would have me really kinda liking this defense. Would just be looking for another LB and another CB in the draft.
