Ok I love the Barkley deal

I'm kinda surprised that he has apparently completely sucked for 5 years.  all of his PFFs are in the 40s.

And I like him because he has great running back combine numbers.

They’ve done Herbert so dirty throughout his career.

See I would’ve kept Keenan Allen because the fourth rounder isn’t worth it because he is my security blanket for Justin Herbert. Then again they got $20 mil of cap space.  he’s a free agent at the end of next year anyway so he’s likely going to leave and he probably is gonna get enough to get you a compensatory pick that’s the equivalent to a 4th. After restructuring Mack and bosa, probably could’ve just tried to restructure Allen to save some money.

Rams got Curl on a 2 year deal

damn, Rams look poised to make a serious SB run this year

2 year deal worth up to 13 mil a year for Curl. Not sure where Eagles were at there but I would have done that in a heartbeat

Gave up the highest yards per reception?

He’ll fit right in.

From 2020-2023 Jordyn Brooks gave up almost 3 more yards per completion… despite White giving up almost 20 more receptions during this time, Brooks allowed 400 more YAC. In the same amount of games played.

Really remarkable when you realize they had like over 30 UDFA’s last draft and just nailed the few picks they actually had. They did the biggest all-in ever and are close to being back in a 3 year span.

Kam Curl to Rams

Would Rams be a suitor for Sweat? Not sure their cap situation, also not sure if Eagles want to give them to one of their threats in the conference, but Rams could try to continue maximizing their window with Stafford nearing end of their career

Yeah, a lot of mocking towards their GM for all his trades but he got his Super Bowl & managed to bring them back to contention. Deserves his flowers for sure.

So safety down to Simmons and Blackmon.

Expect washed up Eddie Jackson after the draft.

Awesome value in Curl, but that means I probably overrated him.

Right market sets value. It’s like when the media says a team gets value in the draft. That’s based on their valuation that teams didn’t share

Reliability from WR3 would be nice. After all hope for dynamism is gone. I can settle for reliability.

The Eagles could draft that player you want in the 2nd round.

The Eagles could draft an extremely potent and versatile WR like Xavier Legette in the 2nd,

If the choices are "someday Lane might retire, so OT" or "let's make the 3rd WR spot great" I'd choose the 2nd one.   But CB should be the pick with the 1st. But why not use a second on a playmaker WR?  Not Deebo Samuel from South Carolina, but a bigger, faster version, who was a high school QB, also from South Carolina,  Xavier Legette?

Closer to AJ Brown TBH. Similar build, just faster, more explosive.

Howie throwing a lot of bandaids again.  Only Huff, CJGJ signed long term, couple years for Barkley.  All the rest on one year deals and mostly prove it deals.  Hennessy prove health.  White prove getting benched was not a reflection of your ability.  Parker prove you still have something left.  Baun prove you are a LB.  You can throw Okwara and Kinnard into that bunch too.

Draft for the future has to take that into consideration when ranking BPAs.

He won a Super Bowl and got the Eagles to another eith that strategy.  If anything he's signed some FAs to more multi year deals then he typically does so far this offseason.

Their 2 rookie DL played excellent this year, Curl should help their secondary, Aaron Donald should keep them as a decent defense at least.

Offense still has Stafford playing at a high level, Puka had a historic year, Kupp is still a good WR, Kyren Williams played really well, their IOL looks good. Add in McVay still coaching.

Have all their draft picks to find more contributors, since they also seem to be quality drafters. It’s a quality roster mixed with veterans & young exciting players, a HOF level QB who can still sling it, and a HC who’s elite.

Totally agree. Deebolike

I see way more AJ in him. The way he catches the ball, his build, just a little more athletic

Where is he projected to go?

all 3 are built like running backs.  Deebo, Legette, Brown,  smallest to biggest.  I would want the Eagles to take him in the 2nd.   I don't see the point of a OL until day 3.  CB is a bigger need,  but the Eagles have 1) Hurts 2) Brown 3) Smith 4) Goedert 5) Barkley and 6) would be who exactly?  I like the idea of the Eagles doing a whole bunch of fun things,  versatile,  so they might as well just keep that whole position open so it would be easy to do that versatile freakbeast stuff.  sounds great to me.  but last year there was a lot of Quez and almost no versatile freakbeast stuff out of that WR3/TE2 spot.  Legette it seems to be could be that 6) Legette.   221 and 4.39.   That sounds good.

You could put Nolan Smith and Ben VanSumeren in at a WR position.  But I don't think that having Legette on the Eagles would be the thing that keeps Smith and VanSumeren from getting snaps at the WR position or the extra RB position or the FB position or whatever position those players would be playing,
