I see way more AJ in him. The way he catches the ball, his build, just a little more athletic

"played quarterback as a senior, rushing for 1,826 yards and 19 touchdowns, while passing for 887 yards and 14 scores…"

Late 2nd?

Legette?  Somewhere around the Eagles 2nd round picks.

all 3 are built like running backs.  Deebo, Legette, Brown,  smallest to biggest.  I would want the Eagles to take him in the 2nd.   I don't see the point of a OL until day 3.  CB is a bigger need,  but the Eagles have 1) Hurts 2) Brown 3) Smith 4) Goedert 5) Barkley and 6) would be who exactly?  I like the idea of the Eagles doing a whole bunch of fun things,  versatile,  so they might as well just keep that whole position open so it would be easy to do that versatile freakbeast stuff.  sounds great to me.  but last year there was a lot of Quez and almost no versatile freakbeast stuff out of that WR3/TE2 spot.  Legette it seems to be could be that 6) Legette.   221 and 4.39.   That sounds good.

You could put Nolan Smith and Ben VanSumeren in at a WR position.  But I don't think that having Legette on the Eagles would be the thing that keeps Smith and VanSumeren from getting snaps at the WR position or the extra RB position or the FB position or whatever position those players would be playing,

There is no precedent for the type of ludicrous ideas you have about players going to play complete different positions. What you say makes zero sense at all and is just a waste of time for you to write and us to read. It’s never going to happen.

As far as your posts about RAS - it is not a tool to figure out cross-position ability.

Relative Athletic Score (RAS) is a metric that combines the various categories measured at the NFL Combine -- height, weight, wingspan, drill exercises -- into one aggregate number that's then contextualized against other athletes of the same position.

If people stopped engaging, the lunacy would stop.

Looking at the CJGJ and White signings, it feels like the team is prioritizing splash plays on defense over consistency. Those 2, along with Huff, aren’t guys who play disciplined football. Huff doesn’t do well against the run, White is super aggressive and CJGJ is a maniac.

It feels like the philosophy may be to try and have the defense make a handful of game impacting plays every week, even if they get burned on occasion as well.

Far better than what we had this year where we more or less got nothing

I mean if they're gonna be bad, at least force some turnovers every once on a while. Last year they were awful AND couldn't create turnovers to save their lives which made them even worse. At least this way there's a chance

With the White signing, you don't go as high in the draft as he did without some talent and for all the mocking he's been second team AP and a probowler.

The linebacker coaching we had a couple of years ago turned TJ Edwards into a very good starting linebacker, the linebacker coach we had last year turned Nick Morrow from a free agent that was rated as worst in the NFL into someone who looked no worse than anyone else on our team who got a free agent offer in the first wave, unfortunately Gannon stole the 22 guy to be his DC and Fangio replaced the guy we had in '23 with his own pick, but we'll see how good this new guy is.

White's still young enough to be worth a shot as to rediscover his talent, if it works out we can extend, if he doesn't it's one year and done no harm no foul. We had Captain Foot Injury and a special teamer at linebacker before he arrived, he does make the team better.

Not sure what’s more baffling. The Eagles plan at WR or what in god’s name they’re doing at edge rusher. Feels like the Eagles are done at WR until the draft. Which I would’ve been fine with if they signed a guy who could play the slot, but Parker just seems like a total waste of a roster spot and may not even make the team. And he’s an outside WR.

I think the idea is that Brown and Smith would have more snaps inside.

It also seems very obvious we will take a WR in the draft, which makes sense — this is a loaded class. I dare say this might be the highest upside class ever? I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many big, fast, athletic prospects before.

I would have done that Curl deal. Rams are crushing it.

Not a great signing in my opinion.  Down here in the Tampa area, nobody is clutching hankies with him leaving.  TB preferred to give 34 year old Lavonte David a potential $10 million 1 year deal than resign White.  White missed assignments,  out of position, complained about $, only played 14 snaps in their final playoff game a couple months ago.  He is a reclamation project.  Don't have high hopes.  Classic case of starting career strong then taking a nosedive.  Don't know if he doesn't prepare, or ignores coaching, but he was really good his first two seasons then not good and a headache for the team the past 3 seasons.

I definitely saw McCaffrey in college a lot.

I realize the stats are not the same. But theres no reason this guy is never even mentioned in literally any RB rankings at all.

If you look back on it, their scouting reports read very, very similarly.

This guy is faster than CMC. CMC became a tough runner in the NFL. If this guy becomes a tougher runner, youre gonna have a clone who is actually faster.

No where near comparable. Just stop lol. Elusiveness, contact balance, receiving ability no where near. None of these backs in this draft are even in the ball park let alone Will Shipley.

Prediction- Big move coming today.

Seems like a physically gifted guy who either started smelling himself too much or is kiko alonso dumb

Eagles finally move to LA?

lol... you must be trolling at this point. There isn't a RB in this draft that comes close to CMC as a prospect. Again damn sure not Will Shipley. Elusiveness, contact balance, vision, receiving ability were off the charts and he translated it to the NFL. Shipley will be lucky if he goes in the 3rd or 4th round.

Maybe for someone other than the Eagles

Definitely feels like they aren’t good enough for the draft done.

2 year deal worth up to 13 mil a year for Curl. Not sure where Eagles were at there but I would have done that in a heartbeat

Very questionable off season, I was a little nervous this could happen and welp, here we are.

Many scouting reports weren't nearly as high on CMC coming out of college as you may think. There were a lot of questions about his play strength, whether he was a product of his OL, etc.

I'm not agreeing with HE, but I get what he's saying.
