"Hogging” is a pejorative term. No matter how you cut it. What you call "hogging” Dan Orlovsky calls "cerebral.”

Not captioned so IDK

130 passing yards is "perfect"? Yeah we disagree and always will. WHO gets the tush push first downs? It's not Bark,it's not Goedert,it's not AJ or Smitty. he won the game. that's what matters, but let's not kid ourselves who is gathering the stats

The only stats I care about is 6 at a time, and 0 at a time for the other team. Why do you care who scores the TD, as long as they score a TD?

LOL show me where I said hogging was bad. Everyone makes that assumption which I never said. Merely pointing our reality. Our highly paid stars have run of the mill stats. How could that be?

The term "hogging" is a pejorative term That is its meaning. When you use it, you get it with its meaning.

OT-Alabama/Georgia tonight at 730. Should be a great game. I will watch as we tend to draft select many player from both teams

If I hog all the apple pie, it depends if anyone else wants a slice or not. Define it however you wish because I don't care. It's an easier term to use than "he is denying the other players chances to make plays". Once again this doesn't mean it's bad, it's what reality is. If he isn't trusting anyone else and makes the plays himself we still win. it doesn't alter the fact he did not let anyone else make a play. So we can agree to disagree

You are sounding like Ham, putting individual stats above team stats.

Please show me team stats on who gets the tush push credit for first downs or "O line TD's" "OH Hurts gets another first down" or "add another TD for Hurts". Any TD's for Lane Johnson? No, because Hurts carries the ball, but without the O line those don't come. We should be able to make 10 yards in 3 downs. We get 4 downs because we have the O line to do it

Penn State at Oregon also on at 730

TY for posting this for me. Hurts grew. Those 4 missed balls he talked about,Hurts used to force those plays. Over eager to "make something happen". I did bash him alot for being a "bonehead". The maturity he has show is evident. I have no need to scream "bonehead" now. He throws those away instead of taking picks for bad decisions.; That part of his game improved very dramatically. I don't hate Hurts, neither does Joe. We simply scrutinized his play until he got to where we thought he should be. In other words we had the same var we would hold any QB to. Just watching his decision making grow and mature has been great for me. l He also doesn't run backwards for 14 yards and take sacks like he used to(that was at TB). This is the first time in Hurts career he has had continuity at the HC position. Siri apparently got through to Hurts that he doesn't need to do this by himself. That is why you now see the "take what the defense gives you" pattern. That's great, nice to see it, now IMO there is another step to take. That is trusting your arm and your WR's. That seems to come somewhat slowly. That's fine as long as it comes. Wilson finally had Hurts trust, then he went down. I think he is feeling more trust with Dotson now. Or at least I hope so.I still feel he is tentative. It was about this time last year when Hurts began to trust his arm. I believe he still recalls the time where he led the league in picks. He got past that to win a SB. His short pass accuracy has grown, now he needs to feel that on longer tosses or even medium distances. As I said it was about this same time Hurts decided he could cut it loose. Once he does that, we will be even more dangerous than we already are. Getting Goedert back will very much help him as a comfortable outlet he trusts. Hurts was definitely missing him. I believe what we saw before begins again tomorrow. Hurts needs to trust his arm and while you may see that as taking risks, it opens things up for the running game. He needs to do it and I believe he will. Hurts even said something similar, so he understands. TB should concentrate stopping Bark. Having Ship back will offer us another option in the running/short passing game. KC tried loading the box in the SB and we beat that over their heads. I see the same tomorrow. Winning at Raymond James will get that monkey off Hurts back. I fully expect him to do what needs to be done. We said the first 5 would be tough games. We are 3-0. 3 down, 2 to go. I fully expect to be 4-0 after tomorrow. Fly Eagles Fly

Killing us? Not on the scoreboard.

And why is that? Because Hurts has been willing us to convert long down and distance situations to overcome it.

What is Siri's record since he arrived with this "lack of O scheme? Winningest coach in franchise history, but we know facts get in the way if your agenda. Who coaches "our guys" that have been the unique exception actually?

It’s been fantastic what our guys have been accomplishing while overcoming this as their biggest obstacle. I’m believing this is our all time greatest dynasty run we are in the midst of. No team can have the best at everything everywhere…we’ve been running the worst NFL O scheme in the league under Siri…exception being what Moore accomplished(when allowed) last season.

Again you are thinking through a tunnel … a 33% tunnel. The team wins and the team loses. The team is 100%. Your beloved Offense is only a third of that.

If you want to think narrowly, Hurts didn’t will the win. Jordan Davis willed the win. He plays in the other 67%.

This post right here.. is telling me you don't live in the local area. For 2023.. it was absolutely the narrative. What is " power ranking " and it's impact in the NFL? Never heard of " power ranking " as anything that matters?

Is it a college football thing?

It’s BS clickbait…but a reflexition of how good teams are during the course of a season week to week. Really was just remembering how the very large majority, including you, believed we were the best and everything was fantastic….because hey…we only had one loss and were scoring points. Exact argument you just tried to make currently with your big picture view(you referred to it as). Because you ignoring the issues because Hurts keeps converting long down and distance difficult situations and putting points on the board. It’s great he been accomplishing that to get us the victories…..but not a sustainable champion approach.

Yeah..

But that's not lofty goals.. Andy Reid achieved the " lofty goals" while he was here.

Or just win the Superbowl and have an all time best record already? Or do we need to go back to 14 years of Andy??

Think you are blind not seeing this issue…you’ll get there at some point I do actually believe this time

Yeah... just so much overcoming? Btw... which coach has a higher points per game in franchise history? Better yet...take away the coach and do it by OC. Do you know which OCs have the highest point per game in franchise history? Then you can look at that list and see who the head coach is.

Not difficult. Go ahead and tell us so you can prove your point about the O mind

So an O proven should be producing 50 points per game you are putting on a pedestal because UNDER Siri they produced 30 instead. Overlooking the details…30 sounds great. That was players overcoming…not thriving.

Just an incredible game going down between Bama and Georgia!!

Georgia RB just every single time hits the defender and spins falls forward…if not breaking it. Bama QB throwing precision dots while getting hit into tight perfectly executed by both QB and WR windows.

If we could grab a few guys from this game in the draft? I’d say heck yeah!

Tough loss for PSU. Fun game to watch as was Bama/Georgia. PSU can hold their heads high. It was another terrific game. Oregon looks good too

Reid did not reach the lofty goals while he was here.He will make the HOF because he had marginal success here and because of Mahomes in KC. He could never get us over the needed hump. By win % it's Siri and it's not close

Sirianni is the 3rd winningest coach in Modern NFL history, behind only Lombardi and Madden. Lombardi has a trophy named after him. Madden has a video game named after him. What will they name after Sirianni if he continues the roll he is currently on?

They will name the gas station that has Ham all concerned about when a Giants fan heckled Siri...and he didn't just shrivel up like a bee otch like Ham would have preferred.
