But yeah…Hurts should have stuck with AJ longer so he could finally get there. Take the clips before Hurts moved on to look to the left. Let’s actually talk about the whole thing instead of you cherry picking a screenshot of how AJ finally got open too late. How open and ready was AJ to be targeted open on that route…before your screenshot that’s already after Hurts moved on because AJ wasn’t there…facing a blitz.

Good film this week for the QB to learn from. He usually responds well after these types of bad performances. Pittsburgh last year was probably his best game of the season after that debacle vs Carolina.

AJ hadn’t broke on his route the whole time Hurts was facing the blitz wanting to go there. Even your screenshot AJ created his biggest separation immediately after his cut in the route. Defender still right on him. Why don’t you name this legendary Giants DB AJ really couldn’t beat…or took way too long to gain leverage. Did Weapon X come out of retirement? Or is it Jalen Ramsey?

You do understand the concept of facing the blitz speeds up the clock. You’d crucify Hurts if he just held the ball and took the sack.

You can’t when the HC won’t allow it…because it’s too risky to score tons of points throwing to such an elite WR. That literally was Siri ‘brilliance’ O strategy last season…can’t even make something like that up.

From what I’ve seen Hurts throws an incredibly accurate and supremely catchable ball.

Sidestep where? They had a full blitz coming with their strategy of maintaining lanes to not let Hurts escape. Left or right wasn’t better than staying in that pocket. AJ lost a step. Not sure how this is glaringly obvious. Took him too long with the blitz coming. Not like he even really got open either. You loved going along with Siri preaching avoid the interceptions at all cost. Well…I’d say that throw to AJ was just going to be a 50/50 ball. Far from protecting against throwing an interception. That screenshot of AJ happens way after Hurts had to move on to other reads. Sure in hindsight…you could point towards that Hurts probably had that extra second to hold on to the ball facing that blitz to just wait wait wait on AJ. But pretty much QB job is to not hold on to the ball forever against a blitz.

No way I’m anywhere near you guys world where that makes any sense. It’s practically moronic coaching….with me adding the practically to be kinder.

But I’m fine with working as much out as possible earlier the better. Develop and grow the teams capabilities to be at their best by seasons end. I’d rather take chances with getting served up a few lumps …but have what we need to survive and advance come the postseason.

Week Seven has the 28th meeting between the Eagles and Vikings. The current Regular Season series stands at Eagles with 12 wins, the Vikings with 15 wins. They haved met four times in the Playoffs with the Eagles winning all four. So the overall record is Eagles 16 wins and the Vikings 15 wins.
