I respectfully disagree. No one is handed the starting job prior to Training Camp. They have to get it the old fashioned way ... they earn it.

Contrary, There are very few starting jobs ever up for grabs in TC.

Media really reaching at straws to drum up strive between Siri and Hurts lol honestly comical at this point listening to the media

The last three seasons supposedly RG was a starting job up for grabs. That competition didn’t even really happen either season.

"Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman rarely misses on moves, but not re-signing Isaiah Rodgers might be high on that list.“ move to see one media article completely agreeing with me in this obvious point worn an article just written.

Breaking down his numbers through five games, look at what Rodgers has done via the X account, vikesinsider.

  • Week 1: Rome Odunze: 2 receptions, 13 yards

  • Week 2: Drake London: 1 reception, 21 yards

  • Week 3: Tee Higgins: 0 receptions, 0 yards

  • Week 4: DK Metcalf: 1 reception, 14 yards

  • Week 5: Jerry Jeudy: 0 rec, 0 yards

Just terrible MattWill….obviously we shouldn’t have kept him instead opting for Addooree…you’re right, not

Pro Football Focus has given him an overall grade of 85.9, which ranks second

So it looks like elsewhere outside of this spot….others understand how much coaching matters. It’s a job and part of the organization. Instead of just blaming players for everything.

man, you love talking to yourself.

Yes he does

Kyler Granson has worked out as that third TE and ST. He has the most ST tackles. Made some quality low key plays on O also. Good job by him to just make this team at first even. Think Rosie and coaches got this one right.

He was always clearly better. Huge amount of us Eagles fans were all on Tanner’s side. It was never a possibility. Rosie traded for Pickett guaranteeing him the backup QB job. No competition.

He also never won the job lol fans watch the preseason and act like they know everything that happens but that isn’t the case.

Yes Tanner had an uphill battle to take Pickett job but he wasn’t clearly better if there was that massive gap they would have made him the backup.

Fact is Pickett did nothing to lose the job and McKee did nothing to take his spot and the edge went to the guy already as the backup.

And Pickett won the only game he started for us with injured ribs

Alright so Zone coverage while simulating pressure has presented our clear biggest obstacle. We need to have answers for this. We are going to see tons of it.

Pickett was guaranteed the job. Never was an option. It was clear. Proven by their moves this season acknowledging even.

It was definitely an option just clueless fans like you who want to have a conspiracy theory don’t realize it.

It was Pickett job to lose sure but McKee never did anything to win the job last year just like Pickett did nothing to lose his job.

This offseason we had two guys we were confident in as backups we had Pickett who contract expires this year or McKee who has two years left and cheaper…. Wasn’t rock science that we were going to move one of them

Couldn’t keep both…because there was a problem with the third string deserving to be the second string.

or the fact Pickett cost 2.6m that quite of bit of cap space that could be freed up plus gain a draft pick….

Tanner and Howell combine make less

But again let’s just stick with the conspiracy theories lol 😂

wait, are we arguing over kenny pickett vs tanner mckee?

Howell was a late addition over Tanner’s injury. Clearly what they saw in practice from Tanner was: Second strong…better than Pickett.

I’m confused are we acting like 2.6 mil cap hit on your backup QB is expensive? Or really cheap?

Darius Slayton not practicing with hamstring injury. Nabers already out for the season.

Thing is Kenny Pickett now has all this experience. I just wonder where Tanner would be at in his career once he gets as many games under his belt?
