All proof pointing towards DeJean not ready to play outside. Not sure he really should. Been my sticking point ever since TD favored drafting him round one. I asked could he play outside? Always been my biggest doubt and questioning with DeJean. Slot CB he’s proven his quality. I believe in his ability at S. Think a good coach could utilize him in so many multiple ways. SS that is….not really a FS. Key being can handle his half the Cover Two responsibilities in the area towards FS. Not stating he’d be terrible in the FS role…more thinking it would be a waste of his best talents.

Aw CRAP no big money for him then!!!! We all(except you) thought DeJean should stay where he is, but he's going to miss out on that big outside money per you. Why not let the people Lurie pays figure it out???? Why do you think you are smarter than the pros???

temp_image.pngOk here is your WR draft took your first 2 picks too. 2 OLB edge rushers that drop in coverage too.(both from Michigan not on purpose) Nwaiwu can play both gaurd spots and Eastern because I decided to take a DT for once.

Hurst small school. IDK that he's faced any quality defenders in the league he was in. Seems like he is over rated. Just me I suppose. I like Lance because he can start in some slot work and replace AJ the following year(possibly,if not you have a nice BU). IDK that Hurst can do that and if AJ is a post June, the draft will already be over which means you would definitely need pick 1 in '27 to be a WR taking us out of a potential QB trade or spending a load in FA for WR1. Once again JMO. Lomu is the only top RT that is already a RT. The others need converted, but Proctor is just an XL human lol. BTW we have some other Aussie rugby? stashed wonder what he is up to. I have to shut my pie hole because I was mad they were keeping Mailata around LOL

Losing Stout ,our elite OLine identifying presence along with elite OLine developer, raises red flags all over with a top OLine prospect choice. If you put it in percentages just how much of a dropoff rate would you put towards a high draft choice Oline succeeding? Thriving? Busting? Drastic difference in my confidence change. Trusted Stout like no other. Bust percentages skyrocketed this draft. Not just losing those two most important factors Stout will be missed with in a high draft selection Oline. Specific long term Oline we’d be looking for question marks. Oline replacement coach questionable…at the very least. Length Oline coach, OC and HC with the organization not sure you could even consider higher than fifty percent….heck that’s just to even be a factor for a second season with our Oline needs.

More whining, you need to open your own WHINERY, maybe a chain of them. If you opened one in GB you could have cheese with that whine. "Ham's ham and cheese WHINERY" Always crying about what we don't have LMAO. This is your team, take it or leave it.

Be nice if we got the extra AJ trade ammo to work with accomplishing this. Will he be there at our second round current selection? I’m trying to dive into this year’s draft class more and more. Would be an excellent selection if so. Worth moving up some for though I’m believing at this moment. Doesn’t have much experience at TE might be just enough for him to last. I’m a fan. Biggest weakness being size. Assume he can add 10 pounds of NFL pro training/lifestyle of muscle…would relieve that concern for me.

How much experience did Goedert have at TE when we drafted him? IMO we would have to move in 2. He's going around 42-45 or so on most boards. Let someone else reach for Sadiq. Stowers is a better fit unless this new OC really rearranges what we do

If there is pressure on Hurts it would be revolving more around unacceptable HC decision making surrounding our best ever franchise QB. Funny part is it was Hurts that saved his job to even make it through that first season at the helm. Impossible! But that’s what Hurts accomplished. Should the pressure be all on Hurts to do the GM job securing our best WR weapon aways as well? Not his job…above and beyond…that’s on top of the so many numerous duties Hurts already performs otherwise.

List his "numerous duties" please, other than picking napkin colors and writing childrens books instead of studying defensive reads and how to avoid missing 3 wide open receivers on the same play and how to avoid running backwards and what the options are when your O line breaks down. None of these have been mastered in year 6 (and counting)

You talk about small school but you like Lance who is from a small school I don't see your logic there.

You have a small school QB here too. Do we remember Carson Wentz from North Dakota. I'm sure he would be a nice BU though. JMO and a 7th rd pick what does it hurt. Darts on a chalkboard at that point.

Man this is going of be one interesting season. Clearly we are trying to have success this year but at the same time it feels pretty clear this is a make or break type of season for Hurts as well.

Right now Hurts clearly hasn’t justified the 42m cap hit he is going to require and that number will only go up. Hasn’t shown he can consistently win with his arm even the 2024 season Hurts was terrible got carried by probably the best roster in football #1 ground game #1 D. Yea Hurts was SB MVP but he was below average the entire regular season and majority of the playoffs. Thats after being mediocre in 23 the year before and mediocre last season.

Being able to stock up on draft picks in 2027 is going to be huge either direction this team takes after this season. If Hurts plays well earns a new extension have an extra 2-3 picks(thanks to a AJ trade) in 2027 stacked draft class is massive. If we opt to move Hurts getting few more picks for him could aid us greatly in getting our next QB.

As much as I’d love to have Stowers honestly think we might go Sam Roush Stanford in the 3rd round should easily fit the Y Te role that Geodart is used in when he leaves probably next season. Then allows us to go OT/Edge in round 1 and 2(or vice verse Edge/OT)

Yeah I guess I thought N Dak St was bigger since Wentz came out of there. Won't matter Howie rarely takes guys I pick anyway

Yeah no real risk with him that late. McKee is still the 2 for this year

Yeah, but what if we re-sign Hurts and he pulls another Houdini after another big contract? IDK he's hard for me to trust now. After the big loot he gave up the reason he was paid, he can do that again, but by then we may not have the top weapons we have now(AJ,Bark,Goedert,Lane) So IDK what Howie will do

Jakobi Lane(WR) was ranked high early and he tanked into round 3

I got him in the above site draft I did, but I think that was a glitch too. I mean if he is there at 54 I could not pass that up

I think a Hurts extension will come done to his ability to win with his arm this time around. He hasn’t shown he can do that consistently ever honestly his best attribute was his legs which made up for the short comings as a passer.

I think Mannion is going to have a hard time presenting a real NFL offense to Hurts. If he sucks again then Mannion could be out the door. Some OC's didn't want to work With Hurts. At least there were a couple of articles about it. IDK how true that was. I think Hurts peaked and this is the best we will see. He's hitting his head on his ceiling

Jalen Hurts will be 28 by the time the season starts this season even if he is used as a runner more again how many more years can we truly rely on his legs? Looking at a guy like Russel Wilson who completely fell off after his running ability started to fade can we truly trust this isn’t Hurts?

I honestly don’t think Siri or Mannion are in danger this season unless something truly terrible comes up. Thinking this is going to be the make or break year for the QB.

I’m thinking the ground game will be improved greatly just because our OL should be significantly more healthy that alone will make the team better. The D will still be strong. Really just can we get a passing game going with Hurts at QB.

In 4 years Woolen has committed 35 penalties and given up 20 TDs

Darius Slay said he would only play next season if it’s for Philly. Nice to have a veteran in our back pocket if we need him at some point during the season.

Be curious if Slay could transition to S we need a new leader in the back and S already has a relationship with Q and Coop

At the rate he is running, 53 cause he's not busting now. I hope that changes or it's going to be a long season. Running OOB on 3rd for 3 yards when we need 5 isn't going to sit well with the fans. Nice to see we signed Mann,he did a nice job punting. I don't really want to use his services much LOL

OT- it's high wind and tornado warning day in NC. WOO HOO!!!! Been thru 4 major canes, never dealt with a tornado but there were waterspouts in the gulf in FL. One was by my boat once, so I follwed it and my guests were sticking their arms in it. Nothing more fun that balancing on an aluminum boat lift re tying your boat off in 85 mph wind-UGH
