The SB RB's weren't highly paid. Like after ignoring the secondary for so long Howie sees now it's a viable draft pick, maybe he will wake up after seeing what Bark has done here

Exactly…we’ve been in need of drafting DBs for so long. Clearly has made a huge difference. Maybe these Rosie strategies and philosophies weren’t so perfect after all. Don’t tell No Mas.

IMO Howie has schooled himself lot better. The last few drafts have been ok,need those guys to step up now. I'm wondering if we see Jalyx this week

BTW Hurts car is awesome

Yes it is! Wonder how he worked out getting it. He’s the poster boy for it. But that car has to be real expensive. Not so sure they just gave it to him like other car commercial deals. They might have got him to pay half price and do a photo shoot…while just advertising it by driving it around.

Well he is still on the 53 as RB3 so h must be doing ok or he would be replaced

It's a custom color too. Yes very expensive top of the line, but you can do that making 53 mil a year lol. It's the performance race version, hard to get

RB3 behind the starting being Saquan is about as light an important load as it gets. They aren’t going to move on not trying to develop Shipley unless he was just terrible.

I would love to get Lamb if he is disgruntled enough to force a trade, drop Smitty in the slot(ala JJ) and we know Smitty can play out if need be. That would be a dream set up.

That just wouldn’t even be fair for the rest of the league

It's the cheapest car he owns

All I'm saying is if someone was better he would be on the PS and he's not

Just hope he stays conservative and safe. That car would get me in trouble in many many ways.

Nah…can’t protect him there.

Smitty is out with a hamstring injury. They shouldn’t try to rush him back on that.

Right. The team isn't 100%, but I believe they still have enough weapons to get through. Make sure we have Smitty for the home stretch and PO's.

You said it was all Oline…along with No Mas

What do you imagine Barkley thinks?  He already has the most yards in his career.     Did he magically get better this year?   I know...you think his head coach is just way better than he has had....his OC is a "genius "?

I know,  Gainwell is so talented that's why he had that 15 yard TD.

But what really makes your case that it's not OL....is the fact that the Eagles are going to have 3 consecutive pro bowl RBs...  and look how great Swift and Sanders are doing since they left??

" Sanders is a special talent "   😆

Chubba Hubbard would be pro bowl RB behind our OL.   It's obvious to anyone who watches football that he is much better than Miles Sanders.

But...  as I stated when I gave the prediction of wins before the season... Barkley is way better than Sanders or Swift.    He can stay on the field to pass block, and be a bell cow.

That's made a huge difference with a guy that can take it to the house any play,  actually being able to stay on the field and get a lot of touches.

Barkley is like Westbrook and Sproles...but with the ability to carry the ball touch the ball 30 times in a game.

Combine with our OL... not rocket science the team was going to improve.

The discussion when Jerry Jeudy was paid his $52 mil for 3 years... $17 mil.  I said I would rather pay Barkley the $37 million for the same 3 years.

$5 mil less per year and Barkley is going to have more impact.

All while locking up Smith long term, much better contract than Jeudy.

All up to the QB not to mess it up.  So far game manager Hurts with his 20 passes per game is avoiding the big mistakes and the Eagles are putting up big points.

It will be 2 weeks tomorrow since Smith played.. Sunday makes 17 days. I don't expect him to miss more than possibly this week.

My concern for this team is an injury to Sweat or Nolan Smith.   Already down 2 guys at that spot.

Part of last year's losing streak was the injuries to the DL and the subsequent wearing down.   The schedule isn't all stacked up like it was...but we do have some physical games coming up.

It sucks losing Graham

Well my concern a few years back...how would the DL do without Cox and Graham.... we are about to find out if our GM was able to get the right guys in such a short period of time.

Barkley gaining some steam as MVP candidate…. Through the same number of games Barkley has had more yards then AP during his MVP season.

Barkley is also on pace to break Dickerson rushing record though that’s with the extra game

That was the key turning point. It happened midway through the Browns game. Ham said it was "saving Siri's job". Sure who doesn't want to save their high paying job? But more importantly,we started to become more cohesive. The haphazard "shots in the dark" went away for consistent coherent play. I think Siri figured out to save his job and this team he had to take the ball out of Hurts hands(figuratively),or limit that and that is what we did.Whatever Siri did or how he did it certainly put this team on the track to a SB chance. The O line asked to run the ball more, because that is what they were trained to do. The RPO causes "illegal man downfield" calls where the play/action does not. The O line is much more comfortable and effective doing what they do best, open holes and stay home to pass block unlike the college RPO crap. I would like to see that all but eliminated and play big boy ball. Hurts is too simple to grasp the complex Moore offense,so he figured out what Hurt COULD do and went fro there. But whatever to process,it's working now. The Rams game was a big test for me and we passed with flying colors. Ravens game. We could lose this one,but i want to fight and MAKE them win it. Not having DSmith will hurt some, but we made the adjustments for that. Win or lose I want to see good solid Philly football. This is going to be a terrific game, possibly a classic battle and I am excited to see this one. A W here would be more than impressive and we would be well on our way to an NFC championship which I will assume will be vs the Lions(another great game) I predicted 12 wins,we may top that with a win this week. Steelers could be a good game also, but my 12 win season is very much alive. Now let's not see any "collapse". Whatever Siri is,was or has done is past and whatever happened "if it ain't broke don't fix it". IDK much about grilling Ravens, but I would like to try 😁

Time for Jalyx Hunt to step up and the guys Howie just got in. They both sound like they are capable of playing, but it's a cram to learn a new system in a short time.Make the schemes a little simpler so they can actually do something for us to help
