I was told that McKee played really well. The question for me is,if Hurts struggles would we make the change? If so I hope it's not with 3 minutes left. You can't expect anyone to come back from say 17 down in that time frame. A change would have to come early, but my thoughts are Hurts will be more than ready to prove himself. The game manager style suits us well no matter who is under center, but we know Hurts is best at the tush push. Sounds to me like Pickett won't be able to play at least for a game or 2. IDK the extent of his injury

Hurts is the QB... he only comes out if inured... then Pickett goes in.

I think we're going to have to eventually put the TB jinx behind us,but at least it would be at the Linc, then I believe it will be us vs Detroit at the end to represent the NFC. TB needs to win their next game. IDK what the order would be,others may know, but if TB gets hot, they can be difficult

I don't think its a TB jinx... we beat them with AJ, we lose when he doesn't play... not really complicated... they press the WRs and load up the box without AJ... and we struggle.  The players matter.  Both times we played in Tampa during the playoffs we had no shot.  When we played them the other times we won.  I hope to play Tampa next just to get a little revenge.  Then it could be whoever last... Minnesota, Washington or Detroit... then would be fine whoever the AFC opponent is.  If you want a parade, it should be with the idea that we are the best, not that we ducked anyone in the playoffs.

Rust for Hurts?

Or that he makes mistakes?

That we didn’t develop the versatility we’ll need in the big important moment

Prepping his excuse

Been consistent since the summer

Excuse has been prepped all season.

14-3 ... 2 losses because of drops, the other with half the offense out in 100 degree Tampa.  Yet bringing up " if Siri comes back"    lol...no agenda there.

Way to think positively for your team.  Just turned into a fan of one player...a real sickness.

I did turn into much more a Saquan fan this season no doubt

Hurts is Howie's boy.  Drafted him when everyone thought it was a bad move.  He made sure to surround him with everything to prevent failure.  Especially after the mistake of surrounding the previous guy with a bunch of garbage at the end there.

That’s the narrative been pumped by many here all season long. Now let’s see the results in the moments of truth.

Saquan? My top draft choice Q? My top draft choice last season Carter? My deep sleeper pick Ojomo? Mailata? AJ(just don’t sleep during the game man)? Smitty? Blankenship?
The one player obsession isn’t on my side of things….that’s for the Hurts Hater.

I thought he was built for the moment...the intangibles...." No Mas there is more to playing QB than seeing the field and making throws"

What happened there???

Laugh it up in response all you wish now. Just don’t come crying on here if we need more than just don’t make mistakes to get far this postseason.

I mean it’s a norm in football protect the ball and you win…. The stats back it out throughout the league how often do teams win when they lose the turnover battles especially if you lose it by 2-3

You’re built for the moment even more by developing versatility. We’ll see how far this O really was developed I’ve had a feeling all freakin’ season. We all know you’re blaming Hurts if we don’t win out.

You do need more the. Just don’t turn the ball over we won’t go far if the defense gives up 30+ a game like against Washington either lol.

But clean football with our ball possession style O on top of how our D has played(refs generally allow even more physical play as well that favors the D)…. That the recipe

That's the narrative that has occurred.

This was your narrative " we need to run the ball, not put so much on Hurts....Hurts accounts for this high percentage of the offense..we are relying on him so much...etc.

Now that the shine is off...he isn't viewed like he can do no wrong...the offense didn't miss a beat without him... the pundits ranked him right in the middle of QBs... yet all his teammates were ranked higher at their positions...

Now the agenda changes?

How come it seemed the 2nd and 3rd string QB were decisive in their reads and made the easy throws?

They are in the league less years than Hurts.  They play for the same OC and head coach?  What's the issue

2 real issues... he could be rusty or he could try to play hero ball.  Other than that he should be fine.

Has any football team ever grown, developed and reached much higher levels  through the course of a season? I’m not in favor of turnovers. But wasn’t a fan of going backwards to try and limit them instead of teaching the right way to do things. Don’t coach: ‘don’t throw interceptions.’ Coach: ‘how to do things correctly and thrive.’

What do you think you need from Hurts ...what will change now?

You speak with vagueness all the time, why not speak in specifics?   What will have to change now?

So week 6 is most important to make sure no turnovers? So much so the HC stunts the seasons potential growth.

Yes...the Eagles have grown....you miss that fact over your obsession with one player.

Who was going backwards Tanner came in threw TDs without turnovers wasn’t afraid to make throws.

Pickett similar against Dallas

Why is Hurts the only QB that’s active by this coaching the other QBs came in and attacked while protecting the ball?

Let’s not lose guys! The way every great team thinks.

Every week it's most important to protect the ball and avoid mistakes.

A mistake can also be what Darnold did last night with constant bad throws.
