Really don’t like Sweat in this defense he fits the youth movement we seem to be going for but otherwise I’d have preferred Reddick/Huff/Nolan

Maybe the new DC can utilize him better. IDK I'm sure he talked to Howie about what his plans are so IDK

I have the terrible feeling this team is going to crash and burn this season under Siri which is going to be a real shame since we have the talent to be a contending team.

I get the feeling going to be a lot of clashing between Moore and Siri

It can get worse? Oh lord

Just makes a difference if it’s a Quez type guy out there bringing it down or not.

Not if Hurts can't locate them

To draft DT first two days would be admitting failure. It would only be to bring in a better more reliable Nose Tackle.

Have the other draft picks stepped up enough yet? What if they DON'T?

I’m likely much higher on Tui and Ojomo than most. Believe these two young guys are likely ready to contribute this season.

I'm not high until they show me something, unless you're already high, then you don't care. Ojomo is a MADMAN.If you can control that and harness it and teach him he could be very good

I mean we made the playoffs last year I’m talking like top 10 draft pick rough

But then comes back talking about how the coaches need to be more comfortable getting young guys involved. Taking the position of the GM being right, draft pick being excellent. Just a case of coaches not trusting and utilizing the choice more year one.

Either guys can play or they can't. Age is no factor. JJ was plugged in day 1 and he got offensive ROY. Smith is good,he needs to be used more. So does AJ and Goedert and whoever is in the slot. The question remains as to if Hurts can find them and deliver or not. He also needs to get stats for Bark and Gains in the passing game. Hurts needs to use the tools Howie provides, not hog the ball

And the year before Davis we traded up to get Smith and the year before it we got Reagor.

Sure would like to see the Eagles invest at DB but it’s not like they have neglected DB over the years wasn’t that long ago we drafted Douglas(who is still a pretty decent CB I believe for GB) then Jones who didn’t pan out many thought was a 1st round talent we got in the 2nd.

LB just isn’t going to happen can complain we undervalue it but we are not likely to ever draft one in the 1st with Howie. RB the value doesn’t make sense either why draft one in the first? Find good RBs all the time in the mid rounds

The point I was highlighting was how completely unattached Rosie is over it.

Have whatever philosophies. But you gotta adapt and not get stick in the past.

I really like how Rosie helped shape the RB market like it is. Then used that to buck the trend for the elite player at the RB position.

The point is every team has a philosophy and a board team value different things.

Steelers are a great team at drafting WRs when is the last time they took one high in the draft?

Saquan was cheap. If you compare him to other positions it’s just seems to stick out obviously as way to hedge the market.

RB touches the ball so much. Trusted part of the O always.

Why not zig while the league zags?

Why not get elite players at the cheaper paid positions?

Paying top dollar for backups at DLine and Oline. Been paying a backup QB top dollar.

Even signed a bargain elite pass rusher in FA with Reddick. But two years in he demands a raise.

You know what makes RBs look better? The OL have a top 5 OL and get a mid round RB bet he looks far better then the elite talent behind the terrible OL.

I mean look no further then Saquon in NY great talent wasn’t greatly hindered by his terrible OL

Pay over the hill DT to just be any form of rotation. He’ll pay those players always over paying the RB, LB abd S.

Who is the top dollar backup OL we spent on lol and the backup DL who???? The only backup DL we spend on is edge rushers and you need a rotation in the nfl

But instead build off the RB, S and LB rooms. Pay the quality players at the cheaper less desirable positions.

Could have brought in Azeez for like 8 mil per year. Stud LB on the rise. Play every down.

So tunnel visioned on roster building.

Let’s see how he does when he doesn’t have an elite D unit around him lol

Can only try too hard for the coveted position players.
