Obviously these last two games we’re losing a mil in cap space with Barkley bonus alone….if we win that is….a problem we wish to deal with for sure.

If this is his last hurrah, even if it's only a play or 2 LATE(assuming the game is in hand which against KC could be a dream in itself),I think he should. Not to sound overly corny, but he deserves at least that. I mean he can still say he played in the SB(yes I know he was part of the 2017 team), He contributed so much to getting us here. If there is any way to do this, I think it's the right thing to do. If he can play as well as before???? No one knows that answer. He would be rusty. So far we seem to have things dialed in in his absence and I am a believer in "if it ain't broke don't fix it". I'm sure this answer falls short in many ways, a total NON answer. Playing is up to the med staff. I'm sure he wants to be a part of the team and play in a SB win or lose. I hope he can. If this is his last game as an Eagle he has the rest of his life to recover. As a warrior he should have his last hurrah on his terms. Could he return and play again in 2025? I just don't believe he wants to go out riding pine. I know I wouldn't

Yes, understandable. But there's no way he will be a major contributor. Not even 50% of the snaps. That's all cool. It would be awesome just to see him be a part of the game in any capacity!!!

Just so many factors at play. Is he interested in returning here as OC? Setup pretty well to pull a ‘Ben Johnson’ is so. Since the O should be setup well to be quality next season. Guys just been through losing so many interviews….be real hard not to jump on actually winning a HC gig.

He is pretty young... it's good that he is even getting interviews.

Siri’s contract is up after 2025... I guess you don't think Moore could wait one year to get the promotion here?

Yeah is there any alternative for them but to dump him?

I can't see it...unless there is something in the rules of the cap that I'm missing???

I think this only works in the carryover #.   That anticipate that # , but I don't think they plan on any number until they get the final one from the league.

He’s coming off a playcalling game that actually could win him the Saints HC job. He wasn’t winning HC job before this….just losing after being interviewed.

Nope….they gotta do some mass dumping

Half is this year’s bonus but the other half is added into next year’s roster money. In a rolling cap does it really even matter? This bonus wasn’t already anticipated into this seasons cap or nexts.

It doesn't matter... my point was, the carryover isn't factored in yet at the moment when looking at any cap space that is showing.    Until the league gives the final numbers.

I don't think the team looks at any bonus as " costing them cap space "  you have to leave room got those kind of bonuses when you finish your business for that year.

Bark is a 1 man mob. O line and Bark will win games no matter what play was called. IDK how you fail with a cast like this. Plays were executed by the PLAYERS. IDK how much stock they take in him as a HC after 1 year coaching one of the best offenses we have had. If you look at it closely it would seem to me any team that hires him has to look if they have our caliber players and the Saints aren't going to have that. IDK that Moore would want a team that can't keep it's players due to mismanagement. I could be a bad career move, so we'll see what happens

Anyone have any info on the O-line injuries?

LMAO NFL films put out an early SB vid. They describe it as "an irritating force vs an unlikeable object"

2nd SB appearance

Highest winning percentage among active HCs

48-20 in the regular season

Trash,he should have been fired along with Gainwell in week 6. Just horrible(thanks Howie)

Was looking into LB Nick Bolton’s pass coverage numbers. He wasn’t strong in that area this season. I’d say to a level of even targeting him there.

Cam already stated he’ll be ready for the big game

IDK probably misplaced, but I just get this feeling KC is running head first into a buzz saw

Gotta think Covey will be ready here. Do you dress him?

No

No

Yeah I’m not sure either way. He could be considered borderline elite returner…but hasn’t fielded one for quite awhile. DeJean has been handling that job well. But remember Covey was really doing a little something as a WR. Could see him contribute there.
