Would Option Bonus be our responsibility cap wise? We’d be extending him in that trade scenario anyway.

January 28, 20251 yr Just saying Eagles have like 19m in cap right now without doing anything… that isn’t with the cap increase that will no doubt happen, not factoring in guys that will be gone Slay, BG(possibly) Sweat contract that voids out won’t be on the books etc. Eagles will have plenty of cap space paying the premium for an edge won’t hurt us in the slightest will still have plenty of cap for other moves

Again we seen Hurrs target Quez plenty I don’t think Quez is more talented or better then Dotson. Quez got nice and open at times can’t deny him that. Didn’t come down with the ball…but that’s another discussion. When AJ or Smitty go from the slot Hurts loves throwing to the Slot. This falsehood theory already been busted…on the field.

January 28, 20251 yr Author https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/phi/2024.htm Yes you can tell by the IMMENSE amount of targets spread over 4 guys LOL- PROOF!!!! 3 minutes ago, cunninghamtheman said: Quez got nice and open at times can’t deny him that. No i said he throws to guys he trusts and brought Quez up as a clear lack of talent players…. And if we are going to talk guys getting open seen Dotson open plenty and the throw just wasn’t made. Again think it’s just building the chemistry which one be saying since the start rather just see another year with Dotson full offseason see how different we look…. If it isn’t working then look to switch in 2026

Not trying to nitpick….we’ll see how it all shakes out. Like you are getting into here though….we’ll adjust contracts to create space. Problem isn’t just 2025 cap space…it’s 2026 just as much.

Target share really not as bad as I thought only threw the ball 448 times. Obvious top 3 guys were going to be AJ-Smith-Geodart in the passing game in that order. Saquon being #4 isn’t shocking we knew he was going to be a big part of the passing attack Dotson was the 5th guy in the passing game and still seen 7-8% of the targets this season

That is the figure it not going to stay at 19m but that is the cap figure as it stands right now it’s not debatable lmao. Moves are going to be made which I stated the cap space is going to increase which I stated as well….
January 28, 20251 yr We are going to make moves to first free up cap space before we spend it’s the same every season…. But again i never stress to heavy on the cap space Howie really damn good at working the numbers we will be fine in 2025 and 2026 even if we go get Garrett
January 28, 20251 yr Author Aren't we going to have to replace Lane soon? Or just use a later pick for a sub standard replacement? Gotta be doing that soon and you won't find those guys in FA

Just adding to the overall discussion…not just all at you.

It's not like he can find these guys consistently. I agree the passes were reduced to game manager status,, that's why the slot really won't matter until Hurts decides to use them more. It's not a priority target. In Hurts mind that is read 4 unless the play is specifically called for
January 28, 20251 yr Dotson was even my choice to trade for. So I obviously thought he could be that guy. Hasn’t translated nearly like I’ve wanted. But still believe it can happen…be huge for us if it does.
