February 9, 20251 yr Author Our turnaround after the bye was just a thing of beauty. Now this machine is well oiled. Mahomes is always tough to stop. My game keys are sealing the edges. Spy Mahomes, keep him running. We have the D front to punish him if they let the guys play. if the refs start the flag throwing just to touching him, they are going to hear about it. No laying back on coverages,make Mahomes hit the tiny windows. Cover well and the sackpack will get there.

Other side be more than happy to take an extremely physical roughing the passer type penalty….earlier the more acceptable. We get in these pileups they’ll be looking for gains at any means possible. Spags has a specific plan for The Brotherly Shove…everybody….so shouldn’t have to mention our coaches….should expect this. But not just a way to stop it by lining up physically denying us…possibly that too….but the way to stop us wanting to use…even abuse that play….is to make real clear their plan is to play dirty in the pileup. Extended long pileup where they go after targets. General inflict damage? Maybe. Most likely at least that. But if your actual plan is to stop us from wanting to even choose to run those plays….then you’ve had enough time to plan specific ‘bounties.’

February 9, 20251 yr So we need to have everybody real alert to the next level of finishing these Brotherly Shoves or any pileup situations. Everybody needs to protect each other and clear things up fast. Rush to assist your teammates and not give any extra opportunities for their crap. Malicious tackling is part of the game. I’m speaking of everything they try after that. Just saying after the plays over….it ain’t over!

Just can’t ignore we were the worst first quarter scoring team this season. Us getting the ball first could be a double negative luck situation for us. You want the ball first in the second half anyway. But Chiefs you gotta give the beggining of the SB advantage to over us. But anybody can have a little screwup first drive any game. Want that to be the Chiefs…just a tiny mess up can force that P. They want to dink and dunk us. So if we tackle….we could give up two completions without a first down. Even if Mahomes is successful. It gives the read to Fangio and our guys right from the get go….see their plan …now counter ourselves. Fangio probably real vanilla first plays. Cover Two Zone focused on tackling.

Chiefs getting up multiple scores early would be ideal for them…as a way to actually beat us.
