I am an offensive minded fan and coach, and even I hate the rule change to eliminate the hip drop tackle. Hell, the defenders already can’t do 1,000 things. Let’s make it impossible to stop an offense from gaining 10 yards on 4 plays. I bet scoring goes up 5 points/game just from this one rule change. Ridiculous.

I also think the need to find a kickoff play that will work with no injuries has become a CIRCUS! Hell, put the ball on the 25 and play ball.

I miss the return game. It made the game more fun. Move the damn ball back to the 20(or 15 even with todays kickers)

It’s being talked about now if CB Quinyon Mitchell from Toledo could be a top ten pick. It seemed slim chance he’d still be around at 22. Now it appears it’s reached none.

"His ball placement,” said Parker after signing his contract. "He puts the ball where it needs to be and where a receiver can go up and get it.”

Fortunately we signed Rodgers and Campbell who both return pretty well. Maybe finally a use for Allen? If teams can't cover, what's to prevent them to still kicking it thru the EZ?

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2024/consensus-big-board-2024?pos=DL My guess is one of these top 2. Murphy you may need to move for, newton may be there at 22. IDK how big a difference there is,but one of these, then Beebe to shore up the RG spot long term

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2024/consensus-big-board-2024?pos=RB RB's are getting shuffled at pick 6. I still like Cory Schrader. Kid gives you all he's got every play. Love players like that. he is rough no doubt, but there is no need to play him. He can sit, learn and get better in a year or 2. I would give him a few snaps 1 or 2 per game in garbage time.(if there is any of that) no sense risking Bark when the game is won

Aj,Smith,Parker,Malik, Goedert, Spann-Ford as the new TE2, Bark,Gains, Schrader. Hurts needs to locate these people and we need more than 3 passing plays :chair:😆

30 years ago today...  Lurie bought the team from  the guy in France.

Hurts is perfect QB for a Parker type WR.   Didn't Parker have the lowest separation in the league.   Then he needs a jump ball thrower not a guy that can hit him while he is open.   A soft underthrown jump ball type throw is perfect for him to try to win the battle with the defender that he didn't separate from.    These are the sideline throws that Hurts makes often.  Go look at Parker's highlights...a lot of sideline jump balls.

The salary cap guy is leaving.  Maybe Ham will get his wish now and we can be the first NFL team to frontload contracts.

I sure hope Rosenberg doesn't land with Dallas; or for that fact,  any other NFCE team.

We were 31-7 with Siri before that slide at the end of the year. Most of those losses were at the very beggining of that even.

We only have like 16 mil of dead money this year. Rosie had to get rid of any guy pulling that off.

Oh..the dead money is still coming for sure.   Dude left on his own... seems like he knew he couldn't get any further here so looking for opportunity to be GM it seems.

How you figure 38 games before the slide... weren't we 10-1.   That's 11 games on top of another 33 regular season games... that's at least 44 games without playoffs.

Did you mean out of the last 38 games we won 31 .. at the time we were 10-1?
