I absolutely believe the Eagles will go line on their first pick too... probably OL.

OK I'm saying DL because we can get Beebe(O line) in round 2. I just think most teams will be after Powers-Johnson and I can't see Howie making that jump up.That would pretty much drop Newton in our lap(the #2 DT off the board). So we'll see. You have O line,I have D line. Let' see what everyone else thinks. I mean specifically just for fun,not "best guy" So we have 1 OL,1 DL as of now. Let's hear from 93,58,Ham, Sen and eaglesTD123

We can... Beebe guaranteed will be there.  No shot he goes 49 or sooner?  You know for a fact he will be there and that's who they want?

I'm thinking OL...because the last 2 years they went DL first.   Not so much due to any kid named Beebe...lol

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2024/consensus-big-board-2024?pos=DL Here's the DT layout according to the BB consensus(not engraved in stone) Powers-Jackson is around 19 I think,so they are all gettable, but Newton can be had without moving,at least that is what I see. of course the pro scouts know more than me. Newton did not perform at the combine,so ?????

If I had to wager....on the odds of the first pick.

1 = OL.  2 = DL.   3 = CB.

The surprise factor would be if the stud TE from Georgia drops.  That would be awesome.

I also think we see a major move in the secondary with a veteran... maybe trade for a CB...but I think that may be a year away.

I have CB as the second round 2 pick. Maybe one shakes loose from another team after the draft cuts we can snag as insurance

DT,OL,CB are what I have right now

I don't think they approach it as... we can take this position because we can get this other guy later.  Like we do in fantasy.

You said in a post a while back...the 4th round is going to be loaded with good WRs...   I'm going to pay attention to see how many WRs go round 4.

I don't think wise to assume all that... I'm guessing a few of those guys you have round 4...will go round 2 or 3.

Wondering how much Howie is listening to what the new coaches are telling him. Newton(DT) is a 3 tech which is what we play mostly

Very possible, but of the 4 I like 1 should still be around in 4. Just a guess of course

See you put them in order of who they draft... I just think for the 1st pick... OL, DL or CB...in that order...don't think the first 3 picks go like that though.  TE, S or LB should be mixed in.

Round 4 WR pick possibilities- Malik Washington,Luke McCaffrey,Ainias Smith, the kid from Florida(Pearsall) I think Pearsall is the one most likely to NOT be there. He could go end of 2 or in the 3rd. Pearsall is more of an outside guy anyhow. I'm looking for a top notch slot WR

But Joe you are right about this part,we usually find the next TE1 in this draft or the next if we have to move on from Goedert, like we did with Ertz

I'm not worried so much about the next TE 1...as I am the current TE 2.

If Goedert gets hurt....right now the best lineup is 4 WRs and Barkley.

And I'd like the best unit to not include Parker or Campbell...so that TE 2 can come in really handy with or without Goedert

Why I want that go to Slot WR

IDK Joe may be right and we go for Powers-Jackson,but I hope the DT's we drafted step it up

Reddick to Jets.

Schefter notes New York will send Philadelphia a conditional 2026 third-round pick. The selection will become a second-rounder if Reddick plays at least 67.5% of defensive snaps this season and records at least 10 sacks.

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo notes New York will take on $14.5MM of Reddick’s compensation. The Eagles, meanwhile, could also be off the hook for a $1MM roster bonus

Depending upon what we do with that money, so far Jets got one heck of a deal. Now sign someone who makes this cap savings worth trading away double digit sacks.

Soon as the Eagles signed Huff and decided to retain Sweat it was pretty clear that Reddick was going to get moved.

Hopefully we can land that 2026 2nd though will no doubt be huge when that draft comes around.

Yep,so his "ball placement" statement was trash

You need to actually watch the team play here. Hurts puts those incredibly well placed balls downfield to be very catchable. He doesn’t drive balls into the ground or refuse 50/50 balls like McNabb. He doesn’t overthrow much ever either. Catchable balls. Placed really impeccably most of the time.
