Just makes a difference if it’s a Quez type guy out there bringing it down or not.

We can... Beebe guaranteed will be there.  No shot he goes 49 or sooner?  You know for a fact he will be there and that's who they want?

I'm thinking OL...because the last 2 years they went DL first.   Not so much due to any kid named Beebe...lol

Traded up at that.

If I had to wager....on the odds of the first pick.

1 = OL.  2 = DL.   3 = CB.

The surprise factor would be if the stud TE from Georgia drops.  That would be awesome.

I also think we see a major move in the secondary with a veteran... maybe trade for a CB...but I think that may be a year away.

Gotta get a read on things after Fangio gets his hands on things here. Then can decide on any huge missing pieces.

To draft DT first two days would be admitting failure. It would only be to bring in a better more reliable Nose Tackle.

We have Noah and Tuipolotu I see as very possible Nose players. Noah…that’s his whole reason for being. Tupultou? He’s been getting that NFL bulked up for a few seasons now. So he might be ready for Nose duties this year. Would be huge if he was made very aware of his goal to be focused on Nose. Because he could also be considered in other roles inside the Dline.

I’m likely much higher on Tui and Ojomo than most. Believe these two young guys are likely ready to contribute this season.

Just be ridiculous to extend the philosophy of prioritizing the trenches to levels of it just being the only real investment…every time.

Trade up for Davis. Trade up for Carter. Both very high picks. But also grabbed Nolan in the first this last draft.

Spending all the money in the trenches also.

You can prioritize the big guys…but there needs to come some point. Some limit. Some space in any team building philosophy to fill out an entire roster there.

It’s like hear Rosie talk about how Nolan finally received snaps late in the season. He glowingly pumps his chest over his draft pick showing strong early metrics.

But then comes back talking about how the coaches need to be more comfortable getting young guys involved. Taking the position of the GM being right, draft pick being excellent. Just a case of coaches not trusting and utilizing the choice more year one.

It obviously was a situation of a logjam of talent. Avoided big injury situations. But that’s not a fault of the coaching staff. Had several of positions just needed any kind of starter worth even developing. Leave those spots empty to be manned by whatever downtroddung vet could be signed off the scrap heap.

Take a S or LB…or even G. WR…RB. Any of those first round choices would have been out there developing regardless of whether they were worthy or not.

And the year before Davis we traded up to get Smith and the year before it we got Reagor.

Sure would like to see the Eagles invest at DB but it’s not like they have neglected DB over the years wasn’t that long ago we drafted Douglas(who is still a pretty decent CB I believe for GB) then Jones who didn’t pan out many thought was a 1st round talent we got in the 2nd.

LB just isn’t going to happen can complain we undervalue it but we are not likely to ever draft one in the 1st with Howie. RB the value doesn’t make sense either why draft one in the first? Find good RBs all the time in the mid rounds

You need to actually watch the team play here. Hurts puts those incredibly well placed balls downfield to be very catchable. He doesn’t drive balls into the ground or refuse 50/50 balls like McNabb. He doesn’t overthrow much ever either. Catchable balls. Placed really impeccably most of the time.

Incredible!! He can't overthrow anyone because he doesn't have the arm strength. I'm glad he shows a little accuracy on the 5 passes he has per game over 2 yards, because he's a ball hog. He "refuses" 50/50 balls because he has no field vision to find the targets, a really noticeable regression last season. Impeccable(lmao) I believe that's the QB's job and why they make millions and we don't. He's not better or worse than alot of others. He's just "average". He really needs to step up his game this year. We cannot afford to provide him with top notch weapons every year. He needs to earn that 255 million and he better get busy or he's out the door(ala Fields). You cannot make 255 million by handing 6 points to an opponent in the SB. You cannot make 255 million and taking Peewee JV sacks in the EZ in a playoff game. You cannot make 255 million ignoring receivers waving their arms in the air because they are open then running 3 yards and falling down like a little girl. The tush push was most of our offense, not Hurts "incredible" and Impeccable" play. Maybe YOU need to watch??? Because that is reality. After the BIG money, his drive vaporized into thin air and he better find it fast

Reddick to Jets.

Schefter notes New York will send Philadelphia a conditional 2026 third-round pick. The selection will become a second-rounder if Reddick plays at least 67.5% of defensive snaps this season and records at least 10 sacks.

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo notes New York will take on $14.5MM of Reddick’s compensation. The Eagles, meanwhile, could also be off the hook for a $1MM roster bonus

That's a decent trade

I mean is it? It’s a downgrade at the position no doubt.

Hurts needs to see more than 1 route(the called one) or it wont matter who we have

I mean it was a realistic trade and probably the best value we could get for Reddick…. Could have taken a later pick that was sooner but getting a very possible 2nd rounder in 26 could end up being huge.

I look at this in two ways could and likely will be a downgrade this season but I also like the youth movement on D just wish we would now move Bradberry and go young at CB outside of Slay who we can’t do much with this year

What did you expect to get for him age? It will be most likely a round 2 pick in 2026

Changing coaches fills holes? My god we need to do this evrey year. Holes at positions are holes the coach has to work with what Howie gives him regardless

He also underthrows a ton of balls as well but of course no mention of that only the negatives on other QBs never Hurts lol.

But I do think hurts has really good short accuracy and the 50/50 balls there he puts air that gives WRs a chance but also watched plenty that if he had the arm strength should have been no need for the 50/50 either

RRRRRRRocket science LOL Well DUH that's the GOAL every year

I mean to a degree getting a veteran coach could aid the team he is likely to put guys in better position to have success.

I mean see the difference Wilson(DB coach) and Gannon had on the secondary compared to last year…. Find it hard to believe that Slay/Bradberry were that completely washed after couple months from the SB.

But agree only so much the coach can do
