Once we went back to the KISS offense, the picks stopped and the wins began. Hurts played great in the SB, no panic bonehead plays. he was cool all the way through the playoffs Fun fact.... in 2021, you were 4 years younger!
March 7, 20251 yr Hurts was top five passer rating of starting QBs in 2024 as well at 107.5. Not bad at all.

March 7, 20251 yr Usually just want to get the best players. But I’m looking for a complimentary RB for that position group. That short yardage back. That’s where Saquan seemed to not really finish the deal. When he could bust it outside to heat everybody to the corner he worked on there the best. But many times…we’d hand off to him two times without getting in….then turn it over to Hurts to finish the deal.
March 7, 20251 yr 11 minutes ago, joemas6 said: Why is it a designed stat? These are plays when he gets pressured. The object of the offense, along with a big part played by the QB... is to avoid the pressure. IDK why you take offense... you need to have Hurts be the best at EVERY aspect of QB ???? That's not how it works. Suck it up and be ok with the fact he is good at some things, and not so good at others. He does it his way, not your way... and he wins that way. you care about him getting credit, and his legacy, he obviously doesn't give a crap and just wants to win. Your original premise with him was that he isn't that technically skilled but brings intangibles... when it played out exactly like this all year... and brought a SB title... all of a sudden you change your whole outlook and want him to be seen as this guy without any flaws. Just be consistent. Stop licking his nuts... he isn't the best skilled QB, who cares, he wins with this excellent supporting cast he has around him. All pros everywhere, it's not his fault he plays for the best GM in the league. Because it’s not accurate. Sure he was asked to make sure not to turn the ball over…and just throw it away in those situations. So that’s coaching telling him to be poor with this stat. Both this is a flawed designed stat you are trying so hard to Hurts Hate with. But you’re failing. Because he’s not bad when pressured when he takes it all on his shoulders and takes off and runs. Him making huge plays with his legs converting big first down conversions is fantastic! But this designed stat punishes him for being such a playmaker.
March 7, 20251 yr What’s Hurts Passer Rating every time he so often makes huge plays with his legs once he gets pressured?

Excellent... all season from week 7 on... except for Carolina... which is ok not to be dominant EVERY game. Along with an ok game coming off a concussion and 3 weeks off of practice and having his WRs banged up. you can use a logical excuse for games 2-4 being AJ was out... and week 6 with AJ, Lane and Smith coming off of injury. That's the point I'm trying to make... forget the Hollywood narrative of " Siri had to save his job and stunting the offense..." how about the logical idea that they started dominating once the QB and his WRs started getting some work in together along with the switch to emphasize the running game. It was dominant from there... besides Carolina and wildcard week

I'll take a RB that offers something all around ... this way they can contribute in all scenarios. pass protection, running, pass catching...etc. Along with some ST play. The 1 yard play is the sneak. Really the " short yardage" RB is kind of a waste on this team. The last aspect needed.

Or that he deserves to be on the hot seat especially. Or pretty much that Siri ever wasn’t great.

Oh 2022 with the key fumble that gave them 7 points when he wasn't touched ...right between the two times KC had to punt. Yeah, that was absolutely a key play in the game for KC ...100%

Beat our opponents down and salt away the victory. It’s not just a one yard play ….I'm looking for the RB that brings something different to the table as the number 3. Which you couldn’t understand this past offseason if I remotely suggested having that…if it meant leaving your great starting level(in your mind) RB Gainwell out.
