Let's be honest Mahomes was making mistakes and bad decisions. Think you just are some how blind to what issues Mahomes has. AR as good as they come as tried to teach and coach him up. He’s got a cannon arm. Finally showed he listened to AR in that 2022 SB to beat us. The only real flaw being in that first half when Mahomes just wouldn’t take what he had…the super easy open underneath stuff. First drive gameplan from AR was exactly that..and worked. Then Mahomes stoped doing it. Then came back to it in the second half …just all super easy open completions all day long. You would be ripping Hurts up and down …and do…if ever does the these mistakes Mahomes routinely does. AR clearly was teaching him this stuff with extreme patience. Even when he beat this in Mahomes head to beat us in that second half of the 2022 season SB…he still just keeps reverting back

Let's be honest I did see great O kind from AR still. Mahomes was screwing up though. Forcing errors. The stuff that if Hurts did the same you’d be skewering him for a decade over. Even after Hurts was the best player in that 2022 season SB you only fixated on that Hurts had a fumble.

March 6, 20251 yr If Hurts would have performed like Mahomes you would have been eating him alive nonstop. Heck you have been after the first SB all over because he had one fumble …in a game he made so many huge plays carrying our team. But Mahomes makes mistake after mistake..and now you blame AR for it. All because Mahomes has the rocket arm Hurts doesn’t. Mahomes has been struggling to learn and pick these things up under great coaching the whole time…with great consistency being in the same O the whole entire time. Whole out HC makes decisions to just skip coaching our franchise QB these things…some because he’s afforded the opportunity to make this choice…because everybody wasn’t sold on that Hirts was indeed our franchise WB…and mostly because he could just rely on our C to do things so he could skip over doing important areas of his job.
March 6, 20251 yr AR had Mahomes rolling out right. Zero pressure on Mahomes…yet he forced that pick six interception to DeJean. I mean we’d never have dreamed of hearing the end of it ..if it was reversed…if Hurts made that mistake. But you have excuse after excuse to blame everything and just let it go for Mahomes. Some how trying to even put it on AR.

March 6, 20251 yr How about that play we did flush Mahomes to his left? Can’t even imagine how much you would have shredded Hurts over that play. You would have claimed it was every reason he doesn’t deserve to be our starting QB. Mahomes broke every rule and tried to force up another interception to to double coverage…on a terribly sketchy play by him.
